I just finished reading the original thread, 'twas a genius thread!
We have a reoccurring spider that has a missing leg. I don't mind him.
However the one trying to climb up my lounge wall last night was not welcome, it was huge!' Far too huge to climb the freaking wall (it actually fell off!!)
The dog looked at it, and sloped off to bed Angry
Dh was out so I retreated to a different chair, and it disappeared :(
This morning dh pulled out the sofa and found it plus another massive one. Shock
I'm going to leave home!!!

Sorry fatty nothing that exciting. It nearly fell out when it tried walking on twigs which made me snort.

Sounds hideous kelper although I've got rather immune given the pics on the old thread.

We need pictures of spiders and of ants!
I did have red ants in my garden but DP dug over the garden and (we hope) removed all the nests.

We've got loads of ants, I'll get some pictures. Most are massive fuckers, those leaf cutters are the worst, half expect to see my far too laid back cat being carried off up the garden by one of them.
Wildlife is all in hiding now, nothing goes out now, it's 38 degrees!
I went out to peg up the washing this morning and was clonked on the head by a half eaten mango, looked up to see the culprit looking right at me. Marmosets have amazing aim, they always chuck fruit at me. I'll try and get a picture of them too.

My son was outside clicking and they came jumping. They move really fast and it's difficult to snap pictures. Prizes if you can spot the marmoset.

Been reading the last thread whilst sitting lying prone on the chair down. TurquoiseCatCat decided to sit on my shoulder. And then dribbled on my face.

My first thought obviously was GALLOPY FUCKER. TurquoiseCatCat is now sulking due to being launched 4 feet across the living room with my epic panic scramble.

Doesn't help that an actual gallopy fucker was running down the side of the dogs bed in the middle of the floor the night before last.

DH had to despatch it while the dog did NOTHING. Bastard.

Do you want to see what a click beetle looks like? It's not as disgusting or 'orrible as some of the other stuff though, just a narrow black beetle. The one in our house was only about 1cm long, they can get a lot bigger than that, apparently!

A friend of mine has found a gallopy fucker. Showed me a pic, was sodding huge. In the grand spirit of the thread she has named it Clarissa Grin

Thumb I'd always wanted to visit Oz, but having seen the nature you have to put up with I've changed my mind. Ours is weird enough already.

My garden has rather a lot of fairly mundane wildlife in the shape of dragonflies, frogs, toads, grasshoppers, grass snakes, several types of spider, and the entire patio is undermined by an ant colony (one of many). The nesting bumblebees moved into the bird box, which was slightly disconcerting as it meant they left it at head height when I was hanging the washing out. Pissed off the blue tits too. The resident robins shout at me when I'm in the garden and the magpies tap dance on the flat roof. Seems rather boring in comparison to you lot.

Now I need to go and find some wildlife, other than the trillion enormous fat spiders taking over the garden. Our house seems to be largely creature free, possibly due to my pet Isembard on the landing.

Which, in comparison to the other images -real and imagined - from the other thread, that is some relief. (Apart from the marmoset, that's cute)

There is no interesting wildlife round here, which is kind of the way I like it. Although the DC went through a stage of trying to keep wood lice as pets and I still heave at the memory of DD proudly showing me her mummy wood louse complete with many tiny white babies still attached to its belly.

My DS's were desperately excited to discover mosquito larvae in a bucket at the end of the garden "Mummy, look at our new pets! Please can we keep them in our bedroom?"

Now she's on the bathroom floor and we don't know where
And she's free to climb the wall scare us all again
