1st day of summer holiday parenting tomorrow... I need to get my 'fun holiday activities' head on.

In the first episode, I was totally struck by Dog looking like a male model from just seventeen I had had a crush on as a teenager.

The RPJ version leaves it out. It just has his VoiceOver whilst Anne runs around Bath looking for him. I often spend my breaks in the uni library reading their copy and just flick to chapter 23. You just have to see his agitation writing it. The Ciaran Hinds version does have him writing it and in that sense is superior.

Needed to act quick as we head off tomorrow for major family reunion event. Including family that have been living overseas and not seen for 3 years and a new baby cousin. So much excitement and all told will be 11 DC under 12. You can imagine how popular I would be if we introduced nits all round. Slightly tempting though as it is DH's side of the family including creationist BIL twat..... Thankfully due to size of reunion we are having to stay with my DPs so have a fairly normal place to retreat too.

Sympathies re the little friends mrsB & the nuclear treatment needed. I resort to it too when necessary, as you say it's horrible but effective. I find it needs so much washing out my (already) dry scalp is traumatised & I spend a week or so scratching like I have an infestation of my own

Last time we all met up DS was going through a major CBeebies Andy & his DInosaur adventures phase. that I encouraged in a major way deliberatley This time it's HTTYD and My Little Pony. Not as much fun other than I am sure will get dissaproving looks for letting him watch and enjoy a "girls" cartoon.
