Lets get Nutty a House.................I THINK WE"VE GOT IT

Right, just had a very stressful morning where someone at sanctuary who obviously didn't have a clue what was going on, told me that the house wasn't empty and a load of other crap.
I demanded to speak to the person i spoke to the other day and this is how the conversation went.

ME : I am very confused and stressed out, can you please explain exactly what is going on.

HER : We have completed you rent check which has come back fine, and now we just have to get the surveyor to inspect your flat, we have emailed him and are waiting for a reply to let us know when he can do it.

ME : So if the inspection is o.k am i then going to be offered the house ??

HER : YES

So that must mean i have it right. I know the inspection will be fine.

I still can't quite believe it, what do you think ??

Keep up Beety - after all the thinking over alternatives she ended up getting offered the 4 bed one over the road and round the corner from where she is now. The one she really wanted all along.

Have just spoken to the estates manager, and i told him we are being offered the house. He was the one who told me not to get my hopes up cos he didn't think we'd get it.
Anyway it turns out it was him that put our name forward. He said he told them that after everything the property needed a sympathetic tennant in it. He put two names forward, ours and another one, but made it clear that ours was his preference.
Just about managed to stop myself kissing him.

Right, spoken to the powers that be at Sanctuary and they are sending me the offer of the house in writing next week (hoorah ).They just need to get the rent amount confirmed before they do.

Anyone think i can tell the kids yet ??I am dying to let them know.

Can't look through the windows Misdee as they are boarded up. I'm hoping the estate manager will let me have a sneaky look when they start working on it. I need to measure the windows and the rooms.

Actuallaly i think i'll wait until i have the offer in writing in my hand before i tell the kids. If they mention it to any of their friends at school there are some people that may complain.

My cow of a neighbour has complianed that we were making a noise early one morning last week. I went mad and went to speak to the estates mamager but he told me he has told them that he didn't witness any noise so the complaint won't be logged. He siad he knows what she's trying to do and he won't let sanctuary fall for it.
