Mw didnt ruin s2 for me, it was the writing in general that did that. Personally I dont think he's a bad actor, but I think he's maybe in danger of getting typecast as "creepy guy" after these two roles. Still, he probably welcomes the change after being typecast as "cheeky cockney" for so long...

The best bit of S2 was Dog's character - I think they developed him more. Kingy was bloody annoying but the Queen was pretty awesome!

The absolute best scene was in the Pinon episode where Aramis and Dog questioned why they are there and it turns out Aramis is there for the fighting!!!

I loved cardinal and was gutted when he left. I feel bad for MW as he had those boots to fill, I didn't hate him as ROQUEFORT but the character was shite. Plus other stuff. I think he's ok in Norrell and strange but like letus I only watch it whilst doing something else.

I think my fave athos scenes on s1 were;
First scene...drunk bucket scene. Fuck me.
Firing squad scene. Dooooo iiiit.
Fighting the duke of saveloy. phwoar.
Most of the scenes in knight takes queen. "I can't believe" etc....
Scene with milady in finale. "On your knees" Jesus.

Oh, and team Porthos is so nice because they share. Because he can handle them both at once should the need arise.
