Morning. Excellent list sparks.

Beautiful sunny day here, so off out with parents for the day to a National Trust place for culture, tea & cake. And hopefully not too much bickering in the car on the way there. Maybe if I concentrate of Tavlit memories I can zone out if they start arguing?

FolknNorah · 11/06/2015 09:36

TBH I'd do them all today and still have some left for Trev and Milady. Wink

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 11/06/2015 10:02

Morning all.

Lovely and sunny today so got a load on the line already. Also got plants planted out before DH gets all eye-rolly at me about buying plants and watching them die in the pots from neglect (I just let them die in the ground from neglect instead Wink )

And now I really need to work... but I want to hear all about Comtess's broken lamp. I've tried “How is it going?” on DH, but I just get some drivel about work as a response. I'm obviously doing something wrong. Confused

Lyndie · 11/06/2015 10:18

Morning all. Cracking day here. Going to buy DD shoes and then doing some planting too.

Hope everyone had a nice day and ailing wenches get a break soon. Flowers Brew Cake

BloodyElkFire · 11/06/2015 11:07

I want to know what the magic SF phrase is, I appear to have missed it....but if I go in The Snug I'll not get a damn thing done all day.

Morning all. Haven't had time to RTFT.

Half the morning has been wasted taking DH's car in for service and MOT. Gorgeous day here, must go searching for washing.

Hope everyone has a good day. Smile

SparklesRedHotChileLeather · 11/06/2015 11:30

Elk - "I can't tell you how much I want to fuck you right now."

You're welcome Smile

SparklesRedHotChileLeather · 11/06/2015 11:31

I didn't have to refer back, BTW.

IssyStark · 11/06/2015 11:43

Morning all!

Gorgeous day here and I've got a bloody meeting over the whole of lunchtime in the coldest bloody room in the building. Not Impressed. Have already insisted to family that we are eating outside tonight. washing on the line

Didn't manage to read last night as we ended up watching Ghost Train, a British comedy thriller from 1941 which was a written by Arnold Ridley, better known for his turn as Godfrey, the very old soldier in Dad's Army (DrIssy has a slight Dad's Army obsession). Was surprisingly good.

Have not yet managed to watch all of that video, am only 4m44sec in but have already had the TB full frontal so all is right with the world.

Mouse fab news re TM Grin

madame good luck with the mother

mouse think the play was recorded a bit ago

Comtess top news about your friend's baby! It makes me all squishy and happy even 'though I don't know her from Eve.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 11/06/2015 12:34

I have bunked off to 2 hours to go swimming and have lunch.
I am bloody unfit Sad

Enormouse · 11/06/2015 14:30

Afternoon wenches.

I like comtess' idea of calling the principal the principled principal or pp for short. He has a lovely phone voice too, I may or may not have the voicemail saved for listening to at will.

helen just float about and take it easy.

Have spent the morning on the asn thread - thank you issy for coming on there, doing many minion jigsaw and putting the washing out.

Have a lovely sunny afternoon everyone.

Baddz · 11/06/2015 14:32

Just done half an hour of ironing.
Fuck that
I'm off for a solero ??

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 11/06/2015 14:56

Oooh, Badders

You know, I was having thoughts about a banana-flavoured packet of Angel Delight I found in the cupboard downstairs. Use by date is only 2008 so should be fine Grin but now I'm thinking about an magnum instead. Hmmmmm tbh I probably don't have time for either before the school run.

I shall go and check the second load of washing on the line and then head out to collect DS.

Mouse what is this 'floating' and 'taking it easy' thing of which you speak?

Enormouse · 11/06/2015 15:15

helen y'know take it easy? Not doing too much, sitting down, leisure, reading stuff. Having hot drinks. But I may not be the authority on this. Last time I had an uninterrupted sit down was in 2011.

Btw strawberry is the only flavour for Angel delight.

ChaiseLounger · 11/06/2015 16:08

Just checking in. Am lying in bed.
If I get the chance, I like to do this when I have finished work, done school run, before Dh gets home. Just to recoup energy. Take notes mouse and Helen Wink

My GP had called asking for me to attend an appointment re my latest hospital visit. Today, I spent the whole 10 minutes sobbing, whilst she held my hands fur the whole time. Telling me she was very saddened by the journey we had had together , over the last year.
She is concerned that I have been so ill in the last 3 months, that this can not continue.
The suggestion is that I am admitted to my London hospital, for 3,5,7, or 10 days for monitoring. But I can't consider that right now. It puts terrible pressure on Dh and we just can't do it.

Maybe I won't do that huge pile of ironing tomorrow. Or the 5 loads of washing. Maybe I will just stay in bed.

That is after I've located the face paints, for ds2's stupid 'alien day' - I have no other costume bits for him, other than my Halloween green wig, - those face paints that I'd promised myself I would locate, 4 days ago. Last minute. Com

Oh well. Goes off to look at TB pictures to make self feel better.....

SparklesRedHotChileLeather · 11/06/2015 16:13

Chaise sometimes, just sometimes, you have to put you first. This is your health & if they have gone so far as hospital monitoring it must be serious. DH has to step up here. What pressure is it putting DH under, having to take time off work? What about in sickness & in health? What about extended family or friends - anyone else who can lend a hand? You're going to end up in a worse place unless you take care of yourself.

Lecture over. We've got you.

Enormouse · 11/06/2015 16:16

Please listen to sparks, chaise.

You need to look after yourself. You are important.
Flowers the wenches are a supportive and stern bunch.

IssyStark · 11/06/2015 16:35

You are wrong. The one true flavour is Butterscotch!

IssyStark · 11/06/2015 16:37

Opps, sorry Chaise didn't read your post before my previous one. Sorry if I came across as insensitive.

Anyway, do as sparks and mouse say.

ApricotCrush · 11/06/2015 16:40

Oh Chaise, so sorry you're not well, my lovely, you must look after yourself. Thanks
