I've had a lovely day. A v old friend of mine has had her little baby girl all safe and well if a bit early. It's their last chance ivf, after a horrendous catalogue of miscarriages, a stillbirth and countless failed attempts. I've just had a massive blubbing illegal mobile in delivery room call from her and have blubbed along in happiness. I'm now euphoric yet red and blotchy and may have given myself a bit of a headache. But what a fucking great day.
