Flats or gherkins, norah? Flats are Lands' End,
very bland simple, one pair brown, one dark silver (wanted black but they weren't on sale). I'm very pleased with them because they're leather inside and out, more than half price at £20 each pair, very comfy and inside they have a little cushion under the heel and arched sole. Now the Middle Age has officially welcomed me

Flops if it makes you feel better, many a time I've just bunged all the folded washing in the spare room on the bed, a child has come into bed ill or somesuch and I've escaped to the spare room and just thought 'fuck it' barged a few piles away and slept amongst it all.
