Focusing on other good news, seems my rant at the passport office worked - ds's new passport suddenly turned up in the post today, no questions asked, no further requests for a translation of his birth certificate!

However, less positively, they didnt send me back his deed poll certificate.

Well. Went and had hair done. Lovely but they then ruined it by blow drying in stupid way. So got home, had a nice long shower and sat on my bed to blow dry it myself. Woke up this morning!

It seems as I was rather tired I must have just laid down and popped off to sleep. Dh said when he came to find me I was so still he at first worried it'd been a Ken Barlow first wife incident as I was just flat out holding the hair dryer!!!

Toddlermouse is feeling better. Took him to the drs yesterday and she says she's had loads of kids in with the same symptoms. Tis a viral thing and we just need to dose him up on calpol.

His slt was happy with him too. First time he did what she wanted and made an ssssss sound for snake. She called it a breakthrough.

Some really weird viruses doing the rounds here too...both my kids not been 100% for weeks now.
Got some sad news this morning. Someone I know has died. I only saw him last week! So got a funeral on Friday which is my wedding anniversary and we were supposed of be going out. Oh well.
Dh and dc off out to a train thing (?) later so I shall put some trashy tv on and iron.

Oh good lord Bads, that's so sad I'm presuming it wasn't expected.
