Bring your steak and guacamole sandwiches and raise a glass of cheeky Chilean red to the hottest musketeer of them all!

Let's play pass the parcel. When the music stops, Team A gets to take off a layer.

Ready...go!

Evening

DS doesn't want to go to his dad's again this weekend. One of his exams did not go that well today - I suspect he was underprepared so is feeling bad about that. He is someone who will not be told, has always been like that since a toddler, hopefully this will give him a kick up the arse & be a learning experience before the exams actaully matter next year.

badders you will no doubt not be surprised to hear that a polling company sent me a survey today asking for my voting intentions & asking me how close I thought the result would be Grin Glad DS is feeling a bit better.

livia, I think to make up for your nightwear inducing images you should let me have Dog tonight. Enjoy your rewatch.

letus, not it's not quite there. Closer than Capaldi though Wink

norah!!

Baddz · 08/05/2015 19:29

Fancy....l have 2 like that!
Think I have sorted mums plumbing issue out...or rather my plumber has.

LiviaDruscillaAugusta · 08/05/2015 19:43

Tell you what Fancy - you can have Dog for the rest of the weekend - he has been chilling out after a chaotic night so he should be good to go for ages Grin

MavisGrind · 08/05/2015 19:44

Evening all.

Have RBNR, have decided the only way to deal with this election result is through the medium of cocktails so have polished off one dirty Athos martini and about to make another.

DC is a twat and has a face for punching. I really hope the electorate wakes up in the next five years, the opposition get their act together and this turns into the 1992 before the 1997 IYSWIM

Right. I will be posting a string of consonants within about 30 minutes and then I will go to bed.

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 08/05/2015 19:47

Evening. It's Wine o'clock Grin

FancyFancy · 08/05/2015 19:52

God they're frustrating aren't they badders? Grin

Thanks livia - he can start with a stress relieving massage

I remember that election mavis (I also remember Thatcher winning her first one), I was so depressed after that one & worked for a firm stuffed to the gills with smug Tories- - fucking nightmare. I'm hoping that my DS won't be the only one getting their act together after a massive kick up the arse.

FancyFancy · 08/05/2015 19:55

It's felt like it should have been Wine o'fuckingclock since I got up ww

Baddz · 08/05/2015 19:56

Frustrating?
God, aren't they just!
But then I try and remember being their age...what did our parents know?
??
I have put another wash on, done the dishes and put the dishwasher on.
That's me done now.
Off to bed when Dh gets back.

LiviaDruscillaAugusta · 08/05/2015 20:03

Fancy Do you need any of the stuff from the dungeon before I go and join the Cardinal?

FancyFancy · 08/05/2015 20:05

True badders - apparently I was a breath-holder as a toddler Shock & when I asked my dad if I was an easy or difficult child he replied 'you knew your own mind from an early age' Grin

LetUsPrey · 08/05/2015 20:06

FAF FAF x infinity

Baddz · 08/05/2015 20:09

Ha! My first ever school report said "bads does not suffer fools gladly"
Grin

MavisGrind · 08/05/2015 20:10

Fancy - do you remember how bloody marvellous May '97 was though? Really felt like something fantastic could happen. Even if it largely panned out to be a bit shit, it was less shit than even the best Tory government could have managed.

So depressing

FancyFancy · 08/05/2015 20:13
Grin

letus - seeing all those Aramises makes me dream about cloning him - just imagine an Aramis for every member of Team A.

MavisGrind · 08/05/2015 20:16

Btw Madame - take it as a given that I'm getting the Boosh references with the pictures of kittens...'Kay?

When do you start your job btw?

LetUsPrey · 08/05/2015 20:17

But Fancy, could the world cope with that much FAFness?

FancyFancy · 08/05/2015 20:21

I do remember mavis - the first Labour election victory I could remember & my best election memory since 1974 when the election was on my birthday & I got the day off, as school was used as a polling station! It was exciting, I was so happy

FancyFancy · 08/05/2015 20:22

Possibly not letus, but we'd all die happy.

Which sounds like an attractive proposition today

MavisGrind · 08/05/2015 20:24
FancyFancy · 08/05/2015 21:33

Had to pause the melodrama to eat dinner.

Trying to concentrate on positives - today I managed to connect the Sky box to the internet wirelessly and tomorrow the Giro d'Italia starts. Although several leading riders are not starting, so if that weaselly-faced cheating twiglet Contador wins, I shall be pissed off all over again in 3 weeks

LetUsPrey · 08/05/2015 21:51

Well done on the wireless connection Fancy.

Watching HIGNFY and then going to the chateau with Aramis

Night wenches

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 08/05/2015 21:57

Evening all. Have been a good little wife and drove DH out to have a few drinks with friends while I took DS to hell soft play pub.

Tonight I shall mostly be eating and sleeping.

Have RBNR.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 08/05/2015 22:07

this is my level of election analysis

Night all Grin
