It isn't but she's off for 48 hrs and missing her play tomorrow. Fortunately they're doing a run, and she'll be back in on Wed. Surgical strike on JL Wednesday morning or Thurs instead then.

I haven't finished my cards, got derailed by a prodigiously long phone call to parents, both DF & DSM needed to be told the flour bag saga & have an update on FancyCat's state of health (she's fine, vet thinks a mixture of bruising and shock). DSM then proceeded to list every item of food she's bringing to ours for Christmas, including brand and flavour .

I then had to leave for a meeting with DD's school tutor, but not before she called back to ask whether I would like some ready grated cheese? No I would not. Cheese is too important for it's purchasing to be delegated. Think that was the wrong answer

Elk. Sorry about MmeElk's day. I do EVERYTHING on click and collect JL via Waitrose. I couldn't survive otherwise. But a long lingering JL day is always lovely.

Amazon have 'been' today with hundreds of things all addressed to me. This of course means I've got to get wrapping sharpish. But I feel safer now it's all delivered. Just JL to deliver and I'm done.
