Men have been with new washing machine.
Men cannot install new washing machine as old washing machine is wired into the electrics with a separate switch and doesn't have a plug and therefore there's no socket to plug the new one in.
Men are not allowed to touch electrics (fair enough) so have to get an electrician to change fuse to a socket and then get someone to install new machine.

No idea how much electrician will charge. Super.

Hope poorly wenches and their families are on the mend.

Morning ... No further along on the essay front.

Dad turned up 2 hrs early and DH miffed that he had to get up as he is possibly still pissed from Xmas party.

DS2 said he isn't well. I said go to school and they will call if you really aren't. Dad felt his head that just came out from the duvet and said 'oh he is sick'. Left him reading in bed but said he should finish the book if he is going to be there all day.

I think apart from Porthos guns that episode was universally our least fave wasn't it.

Next week 9pm: A rebellious woman - noble Aramis pisses off the Queen, Athos begs for mercy, Cardinal writhes in pain and Dog and Connie throw weapons about. Not to be missed wenches.

Morning all. Still coughing. Stayed up too late last night and got up too early today :( Though I did go back to bed once all livestock (including DS) were fed and watered.

Plus DH has glossed some of the woodwork in the bathroom and the smell is foul.

On the plus side, it's a nice sunny day.

Drink PIL, or MIL in particular are fine, just utterly dopey at times! At least they ask what we'd like for Xmas instead of turning up with random stuff

Oh dear LetUs, isn't it always the same. I'm so grateful that DH is a qualified electrician amongst other things and can do plumbing and just about everything else. Over the years he's renovated 7 houses for us and the DC. Only trouble is, he's really had enough now and the DC won't leave him alone. Only yesterday he was fitting a conservatory floor for DS.

Sorry to hear some wenches and DCs are still ill. Get better soon.

Must do cards today, beginning to panic somewhat.
