I was stood outside ds3's classroom today, on the wall is a big poster advertising the panto they will all see in December.
It is called 'Santa's little helper'

Morning. Doing paperwork and stuff. Then need to go to cash and carry and Tesco, followed by frantic hour or so of tidying up, then kids and swimming.

We have an Advent calender you fill yourself every year. Probably costs more for sweets for it than it would to just buy a standard one, but MIL made it so......

Oh fuck me. The mouselets are getting on my nerves. We have a uni friend coming over to stay (think young, male, childless). I want us and the house to look sane, clean, non smelly, mildly organised.

Baby mouse has done the smelliest shit imaginable and the wriggly fucker is difficult to change at the best of times. But this time it took me at least 10 minutes. Whilst I was doing that, toddlermouse let himself into the kitchen and helped himself to yoghurt. Yes he can do that, and take the lids off himself.

When I tried to deal with toddlermouse, baby mouse took advantage and escaped and got himself wedged under the dining table. Lots of yelling.

I wish I still smoked.

In other news, DH is throwing up now and feeling very wobbly (I did hoovering this morning and woke him - bad wife. though it was after the school run, so not like it was hugely early.)

MrsB you are my twin, We also have a 'fill it yourself' advent calandar made by family (I try to stuff decorations for the tree in it once the tree is up - slightly fewer sweets to OD on!) and it's swimming today. (Does Obs do swimming today too, or am I delusional? I'm sure that someone else does.)

That's a great idea re Christmas Tree Decs. Ours has to have a small chocolate each for the DC and on weekends DH has to have one from it too, otherwise he sulks
