I have just been sick at work. An hour ago , at camhs with ds1, my blood sugar was 23.6. Normal is 4-7. So I gave myself extra insulin. Clearly hasn't worked. Because now I am 27.6 and have been sick.

I'm not sure how much more I can cope with.

I have given the insulin. This lowers the blood sugar. It just takes ages, for the blood sugar to slowly drop down.
It shoots up in a second, but takes HOURS to drop back down . SLOWLY !! It takes a good few hours to get back to normal. I just have to sit it out.

Awww shit Obs, that's awful. My mum is in hosp at the mo, her blood sugars also in their 20s, but that's because she is trying to drive me insane she doesn't bloody well look after herself - gahhhhhhh!
