Morning all. Well we've finally had a yes from one of the agencies. Does anyone have any experience of Bubblegum? Please tell me they're not another of those agencies that accept everyone. The info on CM.net about them is out of date, as it says there are no up-front fees. The pack I've been sent requests a registration fee of £25 to be sent with the reg form. They also need her to go to their photo shoot at a cost of £60, then theres a further charge of £110 for entry into the model book/new website. Any advice appreciated, as it's a lot of money all-in so wanna be sure before I go for it.

Just been out to the shops gathering Brochures and Catalogues. I love this time of year!

Quad.....got the Sainsbury Gift Guide and they are lovely pics of your DD and DS. So pleased for you she made the cover......it's a lovely photo!! Especially after other DD made cover of Boots last yr. I remember that piccie.......She had a hat on, pile of parcels and was shot in the "snow" if I recall.

Also picked up the new Christmas Catalogue for Woolworths. "The Big Red Book" it's called and is much bigger than in previous years. Anyone's LO's in this? We did this one in Christmas 2004.

Popped into WHSmith and they say their Gift Guide should be out by end of next week......can't wait to see DD in it. Keep a look out for it everyone.

My DD is in the latest Girl Talk mag.......only a tiny pic of her with another girl. Second one of her to come out now.....still waiting for that cover shot!

Hi Thorntons, I went to Houston - was only there for 5 days as it was a work thing and had to leave LO behind. It was horrid leaving her and I wont do that again but had no choice. Houston was a little dull but was very hot - so I had a late mini summer!! All well with you?

bbwbabelisa- my friend has been with them 5 years and happy. They dont accept everyone they said no to my son initially and a def no to my daughter. It will be even better when their website is fully operational. her kids have done photograhic and tv work with them.

littlemadam - if its karma studios you are going to thats where truly scrumptious uses foe its shoot and initial assesment. i am going there on the 22nd. ts entrance was to the left of the studios main bit and we had to go in a silver filled in metal gate- i am saying this incase yours is in the same bit as its a bit confusing!

We got a call today to see if DD was free for a Junior shoot on Thursday, fingers crossed she will et it though I'm going to be waiting by the phone now and if she does get it I probably won't get confirmation until the evening before!

Anybody know anything about Eurokids. Just got info through and they seem to do loads of stuff but looks like they have a lot of kids on books.

Well, thats it, decision made (not that there was much of a choice, but hey ho) and cheque in the post. I'm gonna be on tenterhooks now til she gets her first job!

just noticd that mimi, raga and my messages have been deleed. they all mentioned bizzykidz - thats the only connection they had?? does anyne know anything??? mine was my experience of them -- if you cant post that what is the point of this thread - good and bad experiences?

How funny bizzykidz obviously have nothing better to do than read m=umsnet all day!

I spoke to Debi from BK today and it seems that what was written on here was incorrect. She said that the family in question had moved and changed their mobile number and email address so BK had no way of contacting them! I think that a few people have a grudge against Bizzykidz, but in my experience they seem very professional and VERY friendly.
