yackerty - thymbs dd was wearing a green dress, did the picture have snow and trees in the background?

No snow or trees - sitting on a box thing wearing trousers, top and cardigan with hair in a ponytail and a band thing. Think Thumbs DD has done a couple of M&S shoots or it could be Thorntons DD!!!

DLM, how is your cat?? Is it OK now? I think the teething powders are great, they seemed to help my two much more than the gels etc.

Raga, thats awful about BK. DS was with them last year and we had one job in his first week, but never heard another thing from them. They rang us though, emailing seems such as silly idea!

Hello. I'm an infrequent poster, but wondered if anyone could help with this. Norrie Carr have accepted me on their books. I was a model in my teens and now I'm a SAHM I thought I could get back into it. I've heard mixed views on NC as a agency for kids, but does anyone know any adults on their books?
Also apart from NC, EB and MOT, do any other London child agencies take on adults?
DS is with B&B. I should ask them really shouldn't I .

Beacon, how lovely, are you doing it as mother and child as well, don't MOT do those - have you thought of applying to them?? I might be completely off base, I'll let somebody wiser advise

How is your DS, you did the kitchen in the Persil ad my DS was to do didn't you, I think of you when I see those type of ads Wish my kitchen was ever tidy enough!!

beacon good luck sounds exciting. couldn't do it myself. i'm sure someone else on here does tho but can't recall who.

I've just emailed B&B to see if they do mother and child. It would make sense for us both to be with the same agency. MOT were a no for me and no to DS when I applied for him ages ago. I like B&B for him anyway.
I was comparing old modelling photos with ones taken recently. Definitely lots more craggy!! I think I aged when I had DS. Did that happen to anyone else? Always seem to have dark circles round the eyes

Littlemadam - did your DS ever do the ad. I think the little girl they used here was either Chinese or Japanese. Very very cute. I think the ad is only going to be shown in continental Europe though

Beacon, I did a family photoshoot last week, and my 'hubby' was from NC. He is very happy with them and has done other jobs. HTH!

Yackerty, I'm not sure what my dd wore, but i do recall dh saying she had a hairband in her hair and a top with a girl on it?

I am sure its her!! Its an A4 poster type thing the same sort of back ground as thorntons pyjama one! The most distrinct thing is the wrap thing in her hair. I will take a pic of it next time I am in there - either that or steal it!!
Glad to here your car is better - although it may not be so good as it means you can get to the shops to spend money easier!!!

Beacon, i'm not with any modelling agency, but i guess you can say i'm with castings collectives. I'm not on their books either ... i've just been lucky .. was only thinking of going for an extra part for something so they had my contact, but think i may join the next time they have a registering.

I know, i went and bought some new tops and a dress today! Things i weren't even looking for.
I'm even worse when i go sainsbury's or asda .. a milk and bread shop turns into £60!
Anyway, didn't see much, but i got some mothercare brochures

It's really not a way to run a business. Hopefully your friend will get her child into UA or some where else that won't mess her around!

i took my dd to see the director of the film today, got caught in pouring rain on the way,
but it went well he had a chat with her asked her some q's, and that was it both the actors was there but she played it realy cool and didnt seem bothered by them , he is only seeing two girls, its to play the part of a 12 year old, there was a lady there with two younger kids that are in the film they was filming today, she told me my dd looks just like the girl whos playing her aged 5, so you never know, just got to wait and see now, but at the end of the day its all good experience isnt

no it came about by chance from a reccomendation from an agent who knows me, but i have run it past them, and it will go through them if she gets it, i didnt want to do it behind theer backs and risk them not keeping her on, yes thank you fingers crossed xx

Beacon, it was really odd, DS was confirmed by Persil, then day before they cancelled all three who were with B and B!! We still got paid in full though, so not all bad!

We're going down to London tomorrow evening and staying with some friends as the John Richmond shoot starts early on Friday. Still a bit of a trek, we're in Primrose hill, and shoot is in Clapham! DH is down on business too, so a proper family outing....should be really nice!

We turned down the photograpers portfolio, somebody Boddy?? It was Monday and didn't want to take another day off so soon. Would have been nice to get some lovely pics tho!
