how did you meet dp/husband??/

i was on holiday in bodrum in turkey meet dp there he was 21 and i was nrly 27!!! i was on an 18-30 holday, meet dp in a bar on the last 3 days of holiday he was on his first few days. 81/2 yrs later and 2 lo later we are still together.

went with my friend after the holday never spoke to her again!!!!!

At a freshers disco at Uni - I was an 18 yo fresher, he was a mature 3rd year . That was nearly 25 years ago, but if you'd told me I'd get married to him, and have 4 of his kids, and given up my career as I danced to come on eileen I'd have thought you were mad

Was a fan of his art for many years before we met. He finally moved to the same town I lived in (very artsy place) and we were introduced by a mutual acqaintence. Still together after 7 years and 1 and 2/3 children

met in the local swimming pool.

I had a moment of being quite fit and was going every morning at 7am before going to work and so was he. I thought he was cute but I never smiled or anything as i'm a bit grumpy in the morning and without contact lenses I couldn't see him anyway.

apparently he had been watching me for ages.

anyway we went on first date on the 30 of sept 2004, by the 1st of october we new it was 'it'.

planned pregnant 4 weeks later . DD born july 05. married june 06.

I never wanted kids and I was soooo happy single but it's the best thing I've ever done. I feel the luckiest girl on earth. and so does he.

me 30 at the time, him 39.

next baby planned for 2008. (want to enjoy my DH a bit now.)

I approached him in a maths lecture about 22 years ago and asked him to do some canvassing for the Labour Party.

I worked in a bakers in dorking there was a cafe attatched ane he and his workmates used it si with a bit of matchmaking the rest is history

Themoon66 - Nope it was Freeserve Cafe or something like that! Also seem to remember there was a '20somethings' room and a '30 somethings' room that a load of us used to use, and I think there was another one, but I can't remember the name of it for the life of me!

Met on a sort of set up a friend from work was seeing his lodger, went to a quiz night at a pub (1998) new as soon as i saw him, got engaged 6 weeks later married 2001

I went to school with DPs cousin. My BF (boyfriend) & I were meant to meet his cousin for a drink, but we didn't get the message to cancel.

We were walking round town (couldn't go to pub cos we were underage & we needed cousin to buy drinks ), when we bumped into cousin & now DP. DP instantly fell in love with me (apparently) & bullied his cousin into going to pub. I then spent the night getting very drunk telling them all that a woman can have 134 orgasms in an hour (or something like that), but a man can only have 8. Things just moved from there. We have now been together for 12yrs. I was 17 at the time, DP was 23.

Met dh at work, I was 17, he was 18.
I couldn't stand him at first, he bugged me! We started going out to pub together and with friends.
Just before I was 18 we got together! We married 7 years later, and had ds 3 years after that!

Still together at age 29!

i met my dh in a chatroom, we met after chatting for 4 days and after 2 weeks he asked me to marry him after i said ask me in 6 months and he did and i said yes the rest is history

I met dh at my local nightclub. I was 19 and with my friend who looked like posh spice and he looked like Beckham ( he was 21). I called him over and said "you should go out with her as she looks like posh, but she's got a bf so buy me a drink instead". He did, we snogged and swapped numbers and that was that.

I met DH at school. He joined the sixth form attached tomy school (his didn't have one). He was going out with one of my firends when we met. Got chatting and bacame friends. few weeks later all dfizzled iut between him and friend (nothing serious) and we went out from then. We were both 16. Got married 8 years later, after sperate unis, and then living together. Been together 16 years now.
