[shock: at moondog; what a sickening thing to say. And totally inappropriate.

UrsulatheSeaWitch · 20/09/2006 22:00

Bloody hell, moondog

Walking away doesn't preclude critical injuries - a lad we know crashed his motorbike, broke his back and got up and walked around afterwards (at a 45 degree angle ). He was also in a critical condition for a while but is fine now. Hope RH is too.

wakeupandsmellthecoffee · 20/09/2006 22:00

moondog probably didnt mean it the way it sounded ,she just dosnt know how sweet RH is .

BettySpaghetti · 20/09/2006 22:01

Macdog · 20/09/2006 22:03

Apparently Hammond trying to set land speed record when jet car overturned at 280mph. Unconcious at scene, regained consciousness at scene.
DH making allowances for me channel hopping tonight, he know's Hammond only reason I watch Top Gear

nutcracker · 20/09/2006 22:04

Moondog, thats an awful thing to say.

DumbledoresGirl · 20/09/2006 22:05

OMG, just heard the news on BBC1. What a shock. I am still reeling from the shock of my own mother becoming critically ill, but I shall still find room for this poor man in my thoughts tonight. Very sad. hope he pulls through.

Blondilocks · 20/09/2006 22:05

That's so sad. I hope he recovers. He always seemed really nice.

moondog · 20/09/2006 22:09

Top Gear encapsulates everything I despise.Middle class white men smirking about driving too fast.

Told dh though.He loves it.

hunkermunker · 20/09/2006 22:10

I'm not a Top Gear fan, but I don't wish the presenters dead

MD, I don't think you meant that?

Kelly1978 · 20/09/2006 22:11

top gear is very tongue in cheek though. I love it too. I do think the comment was uncalled for.

donnie · 20/09/2006 22:11
