Second the spider thing. Also scared rigid about picking up broken glass (or watching anyone else doing it).

mazzystar · 13/09/2006 19:28

driving full stop

HuwEdwards · 13/09/2006 19:28

ooh CoV, you see I pick up broken glass with gay abandon. Weird isn't it?

mazzystar · 13/09/2006 19:28

other people's over-friendly dogs.

maybe that's actually quite sensible

ComeOVeneer · 13/09/2006 19:30

Huw simply reading that made me shudder. I just seem to visualise the edges slicing into my fingers. I had to leave the room at work when some men came to replace a broken window as I felt seriously shaky .

TitianRed · 13/09/2006 19:32

Learning to drive

WigWamBam · 13/09/2006 19:34

Start driving again.
Get within two feet of a moth. Or a butterfly.
Handle feathers.

TooTicky · 13/09/2006 19:37

Anything to do with fuseboxes or gas boilers.

southeastastra · 13/09/2006 19:39

boilers are the scariest things in the world, it's not ridiculous to be scared of them !

Tommy · 13/09/2006 19:49

niceglasses · 13/09/2006 20:07

old rice crispies in milk sort of floating and gruesome.

Using loos in pubs when not had a drink in one........

Mercy · 13/09/2006 20:15

Yes, driving full stop

And going somewhere new. A while ago dh had to write me very specific directions how to get to dd's friend's house (about a 15 minute walk away). It was literally along the lines of "when you get to the bottom of our road, cross over at the pedestrian lights opposite the shops". I still got lost and dd (aged 5) "mummy, this road doesn't look right, do you want me to show you the way" She'd only been there twice herself

filling my car with petrol, it's a real phobia. Have a fear it won't work or the nozzle thing will go all out of control and I'll be waving it above my head with petrol spewing everywhere.

I do do it, but my heart is heavy every time.
