As discussed by Bundle and myself off-board...who'd like to join us in creating a present for another Mner?
Ought to try and keep it a surprise for the recipient really so CAT me or Bundle if you would like more info.
All offers of help hugely appreciated, as before.

Marina · 01/09/2006 19:33

i'm south west, but have checked diary and have friends coming round that afternoon so unless it's fairly close by i won't be able to pop in...

NotQuiteCockney · 01/09/2006 23:52

Where is it happening this time? Do you want me to host again? I haven't made any squares, but will knock one or two together next week, when home.

NotQuiteCockney · 01/09/2006 23:53

NB: I have twice as much room as last time. So it should be a bit easier.

Marina · 02/09/2006 10:58

NQC, if you are sure it is convenient, absolutely sure, that would be really great.
Thank you so much
I am sure some of us attending can supply diversionary children if needed...

Just want to apologise Marina, I offered to contribute a square again, but have had a weird couple of weeks at home and haven't managed to do it. Feel like a bit of a heel sorry (I'm crap I know I am).

tamum · 02/09/2006 11:08

I have 6 squares all packed up and ready Marina, but I haven't got your address any more. I emailed you early last week to ask but I am guessing you never got it If you could let me know I will get them in the posts asap.

tamum · 02/09/2006 11:15

Oh crumbs, just read further down and it sounds as though you don't need any more. I shouldn't have been so industrious. If you can use them that would be great, if not I will have to buy another load of DK cotton and make my own!

Marina · 02/09/2006 11:27

tamum, more squares ALWAYS welcome, I will mail you my address, thank you so much

and Serenity, please don't worry, these things happen to us all. Hope home becomes less weird asap

tamum · 02/09/2006 11:28

Phew, thank you

franke · 02/09/2006 12:27

Ooh wunderbar Marina, I only posted them on Wednesday!

NotQuiteCockney · 02/09/2006 13:28

I'm sure I can manage that - next Sunday, what time? Feel free to pass my address and directions on to the relevant folks, if you still have it?

(Currently in Montreal and not full of energy for writing things out.)

Is bran about? She lives local to me, so should make it, I think? She does quilting.

Marina · 03/09/2006 20:30

I will need your exact address when you get back, sorry NQC. I haven't seen bran about lately but hopefully she will see this.
Bundle is definitely coming, but warty will be unable to make it as her timetable is pretty packed that day and she is SW London.
Anyone else fancy sewing up blanket squares at NQC's (Mile End-ish) next Sunday afternoon?
I thought about 2.30pm onwards if that suited you NQC.

Thanks for three lovely squares this am jura!
I think we may have the perfect centrepiece square now thanks to you
Dd is Squares Manager and has been carefully putting them in piles all weekend
I have NQC's address now so if anyone can join me, bundle and NQC for sewing up on Sunday 10th September in Bow/Mile Endy part of East London, please CAT or mail me asap.

Do you have Popsycals address or do you know who I send the other squares to for the other project?

Swizzler · 04/09/2006 13:15

Never mind, I'll re-do the successful one and re-send this week. God knows where the first lot went to

Littlefish · 04/09/2006 14:38

Does anyone know if Popsycal is around at the moment? I've e-mailed her about the other project, but not heard anything yet.

wartywarthog · 04/09/2006 19:23

so sorry, i think i'll have to give the sewing up a miss. i've got friends round in the afternoon and my dh is away on business, plus it would take ages to get to mile end - i'd have to leave as soon as i got there! on principle though, i'd like to help - perhaps the next time!

wartywarthog · 04/09/2006 19:24

or evenin principle '

wartywarthog · 04/09/2006 19:24

ahem even in

NotQuiteCockney · 04/09/2006 19:24

bran is a maybe. She's a quilter, and knits some, so should be good at it.
