Hi

OP posts:
rupertbear · 11/07/2006 02:05

i saw the watchdog programme it was years ago now, but still remember it. There used to be a link somewhere on the bbc website to a report on it, but not sure how to find it now.

mimi1uk · 11/07/2006 02:05

im sick of this convo now.

mimi1uk · 11/07/2006 02:06

have u had work i know some kids got work on the apprentice programme

Toby72 · 11/07/2006 02:07

yep my dd has had some catalogue work and a commercial but it was long awaited and have heard nothing since

mimi1uk · 11/07/2006 02:14

r u gonna join another agency

rupertbear · 11/07/2006 02:19

mimi that is very immature. You can;t give a reasonable explanation so you say you are sick of the conversation. Nice one! That tells me the answer in one, you have no answer.

Forgive me if I'm wrong but can someone answer me this...why would someone pay a fee to be with an agency and then get an audition right away and then leave of their own accord to go with another agency that they havent had work with yet? Is it me going mad, or what? Just dont make sense thats all. If you dont want to answer it mimi, then that will answer my question completely

Toby72 · 11/07/2006 02:21

I would love my dd to join another agency mimi1uk

mimi1uk · 11/07/2006 02:23

rupert bear get a life, i am not going to be forced into doing anything i do not want to, so if u think i am gonna tell u then im not ask bk if u r so chummy with them,

rupertbear · 11/07/2006 02:24

toby72 are you under any contract with them. If your not then you can go with another one if you like. If you are then you might have a problem depending on the terms though.

rupertbear · 11/07/2006 02:24

where was i chummy? another question you cant answer. Not very good at this are you

mimi1uk · 11/07/2006 02:24

and also my son has had loads of work with his new agency !! THANK U

mysonsmummy · 11/07/2006 02:25

rupert - you are just too interested about this it dont make sense! she has told you and told you she doesnt want to discuss it. why are you so interested anyway? do you work for an agency? if your sisters with BK dont you use her password?

rupertbear · 11/07/2006 02:25

dont thank me, thank your agency dear!!

seems you might ahve done well with bk too by the way it started. God, didnt know womens brains shrank when they gave birth

mimi1uk · 11/07/2006 02:26

well i know bk are always looking at this website so maybe they recruit through it

rupertbear · 11/07/2006 02:27

wtf, if you read back i just shared a simple experience, then I was quizzed for nothing. then I asked a perfectly reasonable question and cant get an answer. To make an accusation like that should be warranted I wouldve thought. thats reasonable enough is it not?

Toby72 · 11/07/2006 02:27

RUPERTBEAR under no contract we can go with anyone else if we like within the time of her contract. MIMI1UK So glad that your son has had work thats fantastic for you both x

rupertbear · 11/07/2006 02:28

why would they look at this website? Im sure theyve got better things to do than read this crap

mimi1uk · 11/07/2006 02:28

i paid 95 pounds for nothing and was not gonna wait around two years like other mums have so used my brains that i did not lose at birth and moved staright away , which i am very glad of now,

i know for a fact they do ,,, and im sure someone said in previous threads they have posted on it

mysonsmummy · 11/07/2006 02:30

toby how longs your contract - when i wanted to leave Bk i just had to write them a letter.

rupertbear · 11/07/2006 02:30

you should be ok then, theres loads of agencys to choose from. If youve paid out money adn dont want to shed out any more just find a few that gets work and go for the cheapest. good luck!

mind you having said that. although only heard negative about MD, you might want to wait a bit if you ve been one of the lucky ones cause youve had work, so you might just be going through a quiet patch. It might pick up again? how long you not had anything?

mysonsmummy · 11/07/2006 02:31

mimy - you did the right thing moving on when you did wish i had this site two years ago

mimi1uk · 11/07/2006 02:32

toby have u applied to other agencies, yet ???

Toby72 · 11/07/2006 02:32

WOW mimi1uk........I paid a fee of 120 pounds for 3 years for my dd and had to send photos of our own taken sent through to them......and thought that was a bit steep and rubbish..........sounds like you are on a winning streak
