The headline in yesterday's News of the Screws (we buy that and 2 broadsheets, but guess which one always gets read first?!) was that Jordan is going to give birth live on the internet. What do people think?

OP posts:
Joe1 · 04/02/2002 09:13

I think its horrible, but she has to go one further. I watched that programme she did where she worked at some stables and they didnt know who she was, she is awful.

jessi · 04/02/2002 11:43

I was going to start a thread on this also! I think its shocking. The thing is, she obviously hasn't taken on board what a monumentaly massive thing giving birth is (and the pain) so that just indicates she really is abit dim. I also read that she wants her male fans to see it too. Weird one. Can't help but feel sorry for her baby.

Pupuce · 04/02/2002 12:13

I can't believe the hospital would go for this and I doubt she is going for a home birth

Lizzer · 04/02/2002 13:25

Jessi - 'she really is a bit dim', I think you could've left the 'a bit' out!!! If this story is to be believed she obviously hasn't thought of the implications involved at all. However there is another reason she may have said she is going to do this and that'll be the headline she just made! Awful woman

Pupuce · 04/02/2002 13:40

Exactly, she isn't doing it (if she is) for the advancement of women but for her own publicity...

CAM · 04/02/2002 13:52

Gross

Rhiannon · 04/02/2002 13:56

I wonder which end would be uglier. R

jodee · 04/02/2002 14:03

I'm lost for words ... I feel sorry for her in a funny kind of way, she's so dumb she doesn't realise how ridiculous she's become. Poor baby Harvey.

jessi · 04/02/2002 14:11

Pupace, if my gaze in astonishment at the NOTW yesterday is to be believed, she is planning on having a home birth at her house in Brighton.

I saw her on the Frank Skinner show and she was asked how it had happened if she obviously hadn't planned it and she said something along the lines of 'he wouldn't wear a johnny and it weren't my fault if he didn't pull out in time' - I hope the child never comes across that interview either. God help them both really.

Joe1 · 04/02/2002 17:53

The comment from our local radio this morning was 'do you think she will wear make-up' leave it to your imagination. Wonder how her parents feel.

callie · 04/02/2002 19:31

I agree what an awful awful woman. She really is soooo dim it beggars belief.
For gods sake her "FANS" are perveted old men. Are we expected to believe they want to watch her giving birth for educatinal reasons!
The whole thing is so sickening and twisted . I really think her child should be taken into care.

Tinker · 04/02/2002 20:51

Oh Janus, that really is horrible! I wonder how many "disgusted" people will try to access it if it ever happens though?

charliesmummy · 08/02/2002 20:41

I too saw the interview with Jordan on The Frank Skinner Show, and was so disgusted that I left the room and just felt so sad for her baby. If the child ever sees that interview on tape when it grows up .... Thick thick thick. Just a sad girl who is so drunk on publicity and celebrity and another reason why she should not be allowed to breed.

Joe1 · 08/02/2002 20:47

Can she breast feed with all that silicone in them? Or will that just be another publicity picture?

Rhubarb · 08/02/2002 22:55

I feel sorry for her, she obviously has no love in her life. For all of you who slag her off, be grateful that you live relatively normal lives, with people who love you, and you yourselves are relatively secure. I saw the Frank Skinner interview and she came across as unloved, immature and sad. She has been treated so badly by men, and yes most of it is her fault, but in a naive way. This is a person who is desperately seeking love, and instead she conjures up hate and loathing. If ever a person needed help, she is it.

Instead of slating her, perhaps we should pity her and loathe the men who take advantage of her and screw her up even more than she already is.

Lizzer · 10/02/2002 21:11

Joe1, to answer your question apparently a surgeon has said that she has such little breast tissue left she would be unable to produce milk to feed her child - bet that wasn't high on her agenda when she went for the 4 ops to make them so gross...

monkey · 26/07/2002 13:03

Has she actually had her child yet? Did she go through with the live internet birth? What did she have (boy/girl/loads of stitches?)

TigerFeet · 26/07/2002 13:06

She had a boy and named him Harvey. No she didn't broadcast on the net in case there were any emergencies etc. (Apart from the fact that it would have been vile)!

carrieboo · 26/07/2002 14:42

She's in heat mag with an article about her having been away from him for 2 days and when saw him again took him straight into a smokey bar where men with cigarets kept leening over him to say hello to her!! She says differently of course!!

Quimble · 28/07/2002 21:49

My sister sent me a text tonight to say that Jordan has just found out that her baby is blind. I don't know where my sister heard that, but I guess it is true. I feel so sad for her and for her baby. I actually had a bit of time for her in the first place so I'm not being completely hypocritcal when I say I feel such sympathy for her.

rosehip · 28/07/2002 22:05

I read that article too in today's paper. I do feel for her - it bought a tear to my eye, you then look at you own children and they are even more precious. People with a far more excessive lifestyle than Jordan have perfect babies, I don't think she should blame herself. I had 2 molar pregnancies before my first child (very rare & very complicated) and at the time I kept thinking had I done, had I eaten/drunk etc and it's awful.

GillW · 29/07/2002 08:25

The article I saw specifically says that it isn't something which could have been lifestyle related. It does put the small problems we all have with our babies into perspectivve though, doesn't it?

aloha · 29/07/2002 09:44

It's so sad. I really feel for that poor little boy. I wonder if it will change her? I would have thought it was hard trying to be a sexy, pouting, glamour model at every party in town when you have a tiny, blind baby depending on you.
