Batters, if someone re-registers under a different name and email address, then it does make it hard to keep track, but if a poster is coming back repeatedly and abusing the boards after being banned for serious misuse, then mumsnet would try v hard to maintain the ban at all costs.

Oh, thanks, I missed that. Poor Sb. Twinkie, could you mail me her mobile via contact a talker if you don't mind. I've lost it and wanted to ask her something and paranoidly thought she just wasn't talking to me anymore! I would put my email here but in the current climate don't want to do that.

Twinkie, please don't go. Think of all the messages of support and the friends you have here and try and put one moron to the back of your mind. Not easy I know but you've already shown us what you're made of.
I would guess that a site such as Mumsnet can take steps to prevent access from specific machines (as opposed to suspending an account created on the website). I think one of Mumsnet's great strengths is that I also guess this sanction only has to be deployed very, very rarely.

Thanks Guys - sorry I suppose I over reacted - I won't leave but will try not to be so touchy or get so wrked up so quickly - I just could not believe what he had written - I felt I genuinely had a reason to be upset and cross after what he sent me and well - there we go me harping again.

DD is fine, loves school and is really happy to be with DP and I - although she is now naming him as her father and refusing to even utter X2bs name and I fear that this is not going to make me miss popular. We had a little tea party - just her and 2 friends a sort of welcome to our world party yesterday and she thouroughly enjoyed it as did DP and I.

Just got to get over the divorce and all that and we will all be home and dry.

Once again sorry for the flounce this morning. XXX
