Crafty People - I need your help.

Ds came home last night stating that, as part of his homework for this week, he has to make a pheasant - yes a bl(dy pheasant. No suggestions on how to make it - just make it.
Helpppppppp!!!!!!
I have been looking on the net today for pictures and nipped out at lunch time for some relevant coloured card, tissue paper, pipe cleaners etc. but I need some ideas on how he can actually do this. Best idea so far from the office ladies is make the body with papier mache over a balloon - sounds ok but then what.....
Any suggestions and simple ideas greatly appreciated - ds is 10 by the way but has very limited interest in anything crafty.

I've seen a brace of expired pheasants just down the road and have been soooo tempted to pick them up, lol!

Well I have the photos but have no idea how to get you lot to see them - who was it that posted the strawberry pictures?
There was a nice selection of pheasants - some had drawn pictures, some had done collages there were a few other 3-d ones. I did try to persuade ds to do a collage but, unfortunately, he took 'make a pheasant' to be just that - make a pheasant.

it was jj who uploaded the strawberry pics - you could start a thread asking for her. this sort of homework is mad, completely bonkers thing to ask you to do imo.

Only just caught up with this thread. How did it go? Did the pheasant get finished and in on time?

I am dreading DD being at school and having homeworks like this. Never even knew this type of homework existed! Is it normal???

Makes my homeworks look really unimaginative and boring anyway. Mind it is secondary! Do you reckon I would get away with asking mine to make a model of a computer, complete with mouse and keyboard?

Right - I found instruction on setting up a phot gallery and think I have done it here - login as jaybee - password is pheasant.

you could do keyword search......Pheasant on the table and you will go to it

I can't get the photo either. I can log in and find Jaybee but it says there are no images.

Just logged of and back in again - if you click on Album Admin - there is only one album and click on the gobbledegook link. If you then double click on one of the pictures you can start a slide show.
That's the only way I seem to be able to do it.
