We wanted to go with B&B, I had my mind set on that but it wasn't meant to be, for some reason it took them longer than normal to contact us back and then we had a job through another agency and sort of decided that it just wasn't meant to be, I don't regret but I wonder what would've been like... what agencies have you applied to so far?

izzy - i remember at that time when you said they took ages to get back to you - ive only applied to UA and b&b not heard from either yet - better check they went ok im crap at sending fotos. do you think it makes a difference of the quality of the photos or do they see past that. the fact some people are better at it than others. it weird how UA do it- bet they are inundated with applications at this time - smart way to do it though. saw your dd on bounty baby of the month.

mysonsmummy >> I honestly don't like the way UA does the applications, it's silly that you can only apply twice a year or whatever because for some people it means that either they wait or they can forget about UA... and although they receive bilions of applications they might be missing out on kids that would be suitable for them... most agencies accept kids all year round except Boss, Truly Scrumptious and Urban Angels as far as I'm concerned... how old is your lo? is he with any agencies at the moment or you just started applying now?

i agree about UA - i have been waiting to apply to them since b4 xmas. my little man is 4 and with BK. had a job last sept (with them for a year b4 that) and not even had a casting since then oh yes the website that didnt happen. its not good enough i dont expect him to have lots of job all the time but to never have a casting. i applied to IK and they want to see him. but will wait to hear from B&B and urban angels first. not sure what kind of kids are with B&B cos you cant see any. dont want to do wrong thing (i went with BK far too quickly) but dont seem like IK are overly busy. the other mum whose child is with them i she busy (sorry cant remember her name).

Hello Everyone

Well I moved at the end of March and been reading some of the posts etc whilst I have been in between internet access etc. I can't even find my normal log in details so had to start a new nickname etc. I think i was something like Luxury Hols before yet not 100% sure.

My son has his assesment with Norrie Carr the school half term week which I am positive on. I did email Urban Angels (now its May) and apparently Jenny who deals with New faces is on holiday this week so their normal turnaround is longer at present. I will call them middle of next week to chase them up. Their fees seem cheap and they sound a good agent (I know a lot of you are happy with them). We will just have to wait and see if they select my son or not. Think I will post to Truly Scrumptious too as they are also a may agency and see. I don't think I will book my sons assesment with any other agencies (don't want to waste their time) . If push goes to shove we will go back to Scallywags for another year.

Well done on your jobs over the last few weeks, some of you have had some great luck.

Anyway now I have internet access again I will be posting more.

Today was beautiful with the weather, made me wish i was on holiday.

Moving was really stressful and I am glad we aren't going through it again in a hurry! I started working back from home this week yet my office still looks like a tip. Hopefully I will get their soon!

Was going to catch up with you....Hope you and your wee one are well!? We had a lovely time - just a whole week not cooking and cleaning was great and have decided that I am going to leave work in 3 weeks!!! Yah!!!
The Mothercare sounds like it went well Grin am sure they will use the little man, hopefully on the front cover! I have just picked up a message from the agency about submitting the little fella for a 'big' job!! Why does that always happen!!??? Hope they can still use him! How was oriental city??

hi yack! just emailed you back we must keep missing each other!!! i hope that the job is still available for the little man!! it's so annoying when that happens. did you tell them that you were going away? hopefully they remembered that, and that the job is for something next week or so?!
