aww glad to hear they are all still doing well.

We have finished our 2nd week now (we are part time for the whole of this term). Only tears we have had was when he didn't get the class toy for the weekend - everyone takes turns and the toy goes to someone who has been particularly good. Of course ds always thinks he has been good so couldn't understand why he didn't get it - teacher was mortified that he cried and actually looked quite upset herself!!

He really seems to love school and we had his first playdate today which went really well.

Well yesterday when I was waiting for dd2 out came all these tired little children, some wanted carrying, some wanting Mummys, dd2 ran out and shouted " and we can have lunch tomorrow too!"
She even managed her swimming lesson after school without being tired!
Really thought that school would be the thing that may make her tired, maybe after a full week !

she did say she was sad at lunchtime as she wanted to play out for longer and go to dd1s classroom.
Dd1 has been made a 'role model' this week to help the reception kids settle in and show them what to do a lunchtime. (proud mummy moment over!)
