You get it out by sticking your hand inside, giving it a slight squeeze and pulling. It copes with anything but can get full and overflow.

maybe she walks around with her hand up her wotsit...

So how often do they have to be emptied?
I think I'll get one after this LO is born.

Nbg, you need to empty it every 4-8 hours according to that website. It would hardly be worth my while (even if I wanted to use one) as that is about how frequently I change tampons.

Nbg - depends on heaviness of period. But otherwise I think just morning and night is OK. They would have at least as much capacity as a super tampon or towel though so depends on how often you would need to change them.

Thats not too bad.
Only thing is I hate tampons. Could never use them.

Plus they have to be less revolting than sanitary towels.

If you are not using tampons, then yes, a mooncup has got to be better than STs, but then, if you can't get the hang of tampons, what makes you think mooncups will be easier?
