Yackerty >> Yes we're still with them and this job that dd may or may not get is through them, still waiting to hear from them!

We managed to change all the dates to SA and will fly next Thursday, I'm really starting to think it wasnt meant to be, dd may get this job and yesterday my lovely dh got a wonderful job that he'll start once we're back! Plus I'll be able to go to the P&B shooting on tuesday which I'm greatful for!

BTW if anyone has this month's M&B and is curious to know what I look like there's a tiny picture of me there :) nothing much though!

izzy> not sure which book it's going to be in but will let you all know in due course. prob wont be out for a bit! think they used upto about 15 kids. there was a little girl who was 2 before us, and she refused to do anything wouldnt even put the clothes on! if charlie ends up like that then I def wont bother as too stressful, it was tiring enough trying to keep him entertained yesterday!!!! spoke to my mum this morning and apparently theres a letter from cnn waiting for me. she said shall i open it and i said NO!!!! it's not for a job but their internship which is the best way to get in so fingers crossed.
good you are goin to P&B. Didnt get the job I applied for with them, so hey never mind!!!

CYAN......really really hope CNN comes up good for you and that you are out celebrating already!
I totally agree with you about giving up if little one doesn't want to do it....even on wednesday there were some babies who REALLY did not want to sit still and were crying and crawling off etc but the mums kept picking them up and putting them back, which i found quite upsetting.....I would have said "sorry he's had enough!"

IZZ ....hope you have had confirmation and are celebrating too!!

TINK.... Think the interview is just a formality -so I am sure they will accept your little man - have fun!

Yackerty >> I agree, this is supposed to be fun, kids have to do so many things they don't like but they have no option such as going to school, to the dentist etc. modelling shouldn't be one of them :)

i have just bruised the bridge of my nose, oooo it hurts.

.....and I bet he's charging you for pleasure?? Don't worry though Misdee, your little lady will still be put foward for jobs/castings - its when she gets the job she will need the dr's note!
A good thing to do is take a couple of copies before sending it off so you have some spares.. then keep it handy along with a copy of birth cert and 2 passport photos - saves a mad rush when you need a license!!!!!

so does she need a new liscence for each job?

He's just started today going from crawling to sitting.... he's so cute :) ( proud mummy LOL!!! sorry!!! )

whooo hoooo, doc phoned about an hour ago, and said serenas letter will be ready tonight, i couldnt pick it up today as dd1+2 were out for the count. doc is also chasing up serenas eye test appointment, as the little darling needs glasses.

imagine how much older she will look then!!

misdee >> can only imagine how cute she's gonna look! And she'll probably look much older, check the difference between Cecilia and Serena n IK's website, our dd looks much older than mine but Cecilia's older... oh well Cecilia is a tiny little one, most 6 months' babies are bigger than her, bless her!!
When we first had to get a doc's letter (you ned one every 6 months) our gp charged £40!!! Now we moved and the new GP charged only £10!

serena is still in 6-12month stuff. is on the 9th percentile. she is my smallest baby.

well, not by birth weight, but by current weight. dd1 was 6lb 15, dd2 was 9lb and serena was 7lb 14oz. at one year, dd1 was around 25lb, dd2 was 30lb+ (!!!) and serena is only about 18-19lb.

misdee >> she's same as dd but mine was quite big when she was born at 9lb then she started dropping and now she's below 9th centile and wears 6-12 months! I think the thing with Serena is that she looks older in photos, isn't it? She must be a cutie!!! Is your dh really proud of her?
