Ahhh good luck with scallywags even if u decided not to go with them... I dont get that on there site about the popular models that seems a little unfair I think?

sha11 Grin no i'm not posh, i wore normal clothes, jean jumper and boots i think its just my hair needs a good make over, i really think that is what makes or breaks an image and mine is blonde and quite long so can look scraggily and most of the time i just tie it back, i think i may have hit that age where long/blonde doesn't suit iykwim. gonna go with shoulder lenth ,feathered and high lights me thinks.

To all you experienced mummies... how does this all work?
When the lady from bubblegum said she has put reece up for a job does this mean that the company would have been to LOADS of agencies and asked for people or do they normally go to just one and ask for a selection from them? Just wondering how it works really? As we're not as experienced as many on here, as we've never had a job or propberly been this close to one? Grin

Going to my mum and dads today for dinner yay :) my mum is the best cook Grin

hi tink, the models come from different agencies, not that i know from experienceSad just from wots said on here.

when i put ds on AK books, lisa phoned that day and said she had a job for him at boots (dont know if you remember), well anyway it never came off because he didnt get picked after they 2nd looked his photo

tink from what i've seen and heard, if it's a big name company, job/casting many differant agencies are used, but i would imagine that casting directors probably do use certain agencies time after time for example when we did a magazine shoot the 3 models used were all from bizzy kidz and i spoke to a lady whose dd was on the following shoot and again all 3 models were from b/k which would sugest that b/k was the only agency they used (at that time) where as the casting we went to yesturday they had urban angels, mot and bruce and brown which would show they only used the top end of the indusrties agencies, but the casting we went to a while back had about 10 differant agencies represented, so i would say in most situations multipul agencies are used.

cool :) I guess if there are loads of agencies that they have gone to my little man will most likely not be picked :) oh well :)

I guess if we havent heard monday its a no :) think tho I will def talk to BG about sticking with them as its a good start in my eyes. :)

tink if it's a job without casting the casting agent may have only gone to bubblegum you never know? i would agree it is a good start, go for it.

yeah she said there is no casting but they could have gone to other agencies but we will see :)

yeah think maybe we will speak 2 thema bout joining... as in do we need pictures etc? model book etc? Its strange as she's putting up rooster for a job and we dont really know much about them lol

Hi tink,When my dd was with BG she got a lot of direct bookings,BG used to supply for Asda,mothercare,good housekeeping and lots of baby mags.So you should be ok with them

Perfume,i felt same as you at the clarks casting,there were so many beautiful kids with super groomed mums,and loads of them seemed to know each other

Tink,we were with them for a few yrs,we left when we moved to south coast.dd was 5 when we left.Dont remember there being lots of costs,just the usual photographers fee,and you got the contact sheet to keep.But its changed a fair bit since we were with them,they have moved premises and the owner died,so im not sure what they are like now,they have a gd rep in the industry though

Hi tink......regarding your question about being put foward for a job I think it depends on your agency!!!Grin With our agency, clients log onto the website and then select which kids they want for a job/casting so we never know what we are being put foward for unless they choose him!!....but with agencies like BG and AK who don't have a website clients would tell the agency what they are looking for and then the agency would send them profiles of kids who fit the description and then the client would choose from those. As Perfumelady said I think different clients have prefered agencies but a friend is with BG and her little one has so far done a Tomy advert and had a few castings so they do get work! GOOD LUCK....HOPE YOUR MUNCHKIN GETS IT!!!!

I think when linda gets in touch properly about the job as to wether or not he has got it I will talk to her about joining agency etc as I may decide then not to go with IK? As I cant afford to spend loads and loads IYKWIM

Did someone have a job today? I cant remember who but hope it went ok :)

Reece didnt get the job just spoke 2 Linda but she is sending me all the registration forms to join them. So we will have a look thru when they arrive & see what we think.

I think I may go with them though as it seemed a good start. :)
