I didn't have as much luck as MUM007 and YummyMummy and as I said many time before it probably was coincidence but just as LBrook as soon as we went to another agency we got a few castings (dd didn't get the jobs but at least I could see some light at the end of the tunnel!), to me the worst thing was the e-mail that the head booker sent me with loads of attacks, it was horrible, I was in shock. And as for comments on calling them I tried several times to contact them by phone and was never sucessful. I don't think BK are scam but I think they're far from being a top agency.

I was just adding my own personal experience like everyone else has done about other agencies. I read this thread with interest as my sister wants to sign her little girl with an agency (Was turned down by Bizzykidz and MOT)so in the process of gathering information for agencies for her by reading other mums stories.
I am also fully in my right to add my own and dont know why I am actually justifying myself.
Are you from Norrie Carr?

yackertyyack · 28/02/2006 13:12

Izz >>>> Not sure who the litte man will be - will let you know tomorrow! Should be funny to watch Grin Did your friend get picked??
When are you off to SA?????

mythumbelinas · 28/02/2006 13:14

yackertyyack - lots of luck for your ds tomorrow .. very exciting Grin

izzy - hope you got to have some 'me' time and got your haircut :)

izzyrubi · 28/02/2006 13:23

Yackerty >> My friend's lo didn't get the job... we're off on Thursday if we're lucky but I'm starting to think that things will not work out so maybe we'll go to SA on Thursday, maybe not... will let you know! And you must tell us all about the job tomorrow!

Thumbs >> Extreme measures, will get a nanny to look after dd tomorrow morning so I can go to hair dresser, I seriosuly cannot travel with this hair!! You know I keep forgetting how old is your lo and what agency you are with...

MUM007 >> There's a big list of agency at the bottom of thread, good luck to your sister's lo.

Thanx Izzy- I am sure many others like me would like to post but read and get put off because we are not part of the crowd. No offence to anyone I think it is great how you all get on and meet up etc. But you almost feel like you are butting in. So when you do post your experiences you get jumped on straight away (Not by any of you nice ladies may I add).
Thanx anyway will pass your agency experiences on to my sister. Let you know if she is sucessful. x

mythumbelinas · 28/02/2006 13:37

izzy - we're with KL. They have been great with dd2, but not so sure for dd1. I'm being patient tho .. i find Sue and my booker very nice and friendly and they do know who i am and remember my kids .. this is my first experience in the modelling world for my kids, so i'm willing to give it some time :)

LBrook · 28/02/2006 13:37

YummyMummy and MUM007 you should be ashamed of what you're doing.
I just saw that whoever this person is she's posting good comments about BizzyKidz in several other forums, in fact the person is using the same messages and in one of the forums I just read the person made the same mistake in publishing the message more than once but with two different nicknames, be careful, what you're doing is really wrong.

izzyrubi · 28/02/2006 13:42

thumbs >> how old are your dds? I really really wanted dd to go with KL but they didn't take her snif snif snif!!!!

MUM007 >> Everyone is welcome to join and post their comments, this is why we're here in first place, if someone doesn't like what you say just ignore it, it's a public forum and you're free to say what you want! I'm glad you had good experiences with Bk and it's sad that I can't say the same but then I know other people have same trouble with other agencies, maybe there's more ppl that have trouble with Bk because they're a big agency with more kids... don't know, just especulating!!!

OP posts:
izzyrubi · 28/02/2006 13:43

LBrook >> Just e-mailed you :)

OP posts:
mythumbelinas · 28/02/2006 13:44

forgot to say dd's are 6 and 2

hope SA works out :)
Know what you mean about hairdresser, it's a pleasurable necessity .. first time i went, dh promised to be home to look after dd2, but he wasn't and i ended up taking her. Second time, he came with me but disappeared to the pub leaving dd2 .. getting my hair cut a stranger gave dd2 her bottle Angry

yummymummy321 · 28/02/2006 13:46

LBrook, I have come on this forum as I noticed that BK were getting slated, which I didnt think was at all fair, so thought I would share my positive experiences, only to be told you 'dont buy that'!!!!!!!!!!

That is totally your opinion, which you are entitled to, as am I...

I also dont think it is fair for you to mention names, although I have always found Debi helpful when needed...I bet you are now going to tell me I am her!!!

I did lots and lots of research before going with Bizzykidz, trust me! It was actually suggested for me to go to Bizzykidz by a photographer who had used kids from them for a shoot, and i then looked into them and found them helpful and I liked their website...It is as simple as that.

mykidsmum · 28/02/2006 13:49

ladies, is there really any need? fgs there are more important things to argue about, sheesh.

izzyrubi · 28/02/2006 13:53

thumbs >> glad to know i'm not the only one Grin but sorry to hear that at the same time!

How long have you been with KL? Have your dd had any castings/jobs? Are you considering going with another agency for dd1?

OP posts:
Mummy2Toby · 28/02/2006 13:57

Good afternoon everyone, I hope you are all okay and those with jobs, casting etc good luck Smile
I have just been catching up with the posts and can't believe it! This is normally a "very nice" board and it seems to have turned nasty Shock
I also read the board for a while before I made my first post, but I never found any problems - we are a friendly bunch here!

Everybody is entitled to their own opinions and everybody will have different experiences of agencies, but that is what we are here for to share opinions ..... surely not to attack each other.
Am off out now, but felt that I had to say somethingGrin I will post tomorrow after my dr's appt - am going to confirm my BFP Grin Grin Maybe it is my hormones that have got me worked up Blush

yummymummy321 · 28/02/2006 13:57

I am sorry, i really dont want to start some sort of argument here, but I have just read your message LBrook and am disgusted that you have said that mum007 and I should be ashamed of ourselves!!! mum007 - are you ashamed of yourself?? I am not!!! If you are referring to me when u say this person has posted messages all over, (i think you are!!!) Yes, I have replied to somebody in another forum (mother and baby if anybody is interested) with a similar message as my first on mumsnet, and as it was my first time and my computer wasnt working, it duplicated the message...what is your point???! My nickname is yummymummy and that is me!!!!!!!!!!

I only come on here to share my views but feel you are going around bullying, intimidating and aggrevating other mums...you remind me of my niece's playground bully!!!

perfumelady · 28/02/2006 14:01

MUM007 it's a shame you feel that we are all too clicky, that is not the case, we are a friendly bunch and it's only two or three that have met up not all of us, anyone new that has come on, has always been made very welcome(even the highjackers!!) one person may have jumped on you, but no-one else did,so you shouldn't have a go at everyone just because of one persons comments plus the person that jumped on you is new herself.

izzyrubi · 28/02/2006 14:01

agree with mykidsmum, everyone is entitled to their opinion but there's really no need for this!

OP posts:
TwinGirls2003 · 28/02/2006 14:03

I really dont think there's a clique on this thread. I've only posted a couple of times but have had very pleasant responses from everyone! Like many others on here I feel extremely disappointed with BK.It's certainly possible that BK are feeling a bit threatened by the rise of some newer agencies like IK and are drumming up a bit of business for themselves on various forums.

mykidsmum · 28/02/2006 14:04

definately not a clique either, I just pop in and out depending if I have anythhing to say or not

izzyrubi · 28/02/2006 14:05

Come on ppl, this is a nice board, no fights, please!!!! :)

Agree with perfumelady, we're a friendly bunch and everyone is always welcome to join, we love sharing our experiences and normally we don't have any problems, let's not start now :)

izzyrubi- ds is good!! thanks.
just beem whsmith, junior magz isn't out yet!! Grin

alliebaba · 28/02/2006 14:09

fight, fight, fight, fight

yummymummy321 · 28/02/2006 14:09

Perfumelady - your sound like a nice woman...thanks!!!!!

twingirls2003 - I think those that come on and assume those relaying good points are 'drumming up business' are maybe those responsible for that exact thing from other agencies, as to be honest, I would never have thought of that... If i was to slate other agencies, would that be preferable or would you think I had a personal vendetta against them? If we are only here to give bad views, then can I say that I was with Norrie Carr for a year when my little one was a baby, and found them terrible...only ever doing one small job...i since found out when attending a casting that they went down hill because they were brought out by a group of estate agents, so there you go!!!!!!!

alliebaba · 28/02/2006 14:09

i just pop in and out talking rubbish so not cliquey at all!!!!!!
