Most of you are really nice actually, i know this isnt a clique, I am new but have already found these forums really helpful...to be honest I never realised they existed till recently and have been doing this for a few years, so was nice to read other experiences!

Thanks!

allibaba - LOL!

alliebaba · 28/02/2006 14:13

am i nice :(

tigeryuan · 28/02/2006 14:15

allie - you made me laugh too!!

i don't like bk as i don't have any job/casting, or call from them. Is that a fair comment!!

they did sent me a copy of dr. letter by post tho. (i requested it) thanks!

tigeryuan · 28/02/2006 14:18

izzyrubi - i have subscribed to the junior magz, but not for this month.. Envy... next issue onwards!

mythumbelinas · 28/02/2006 14:18

First applied to BK, got a 'yes' and thought 'hmm' decided to do some research as knew nothing about the modelling world. My sis (who is better at finding things) sourced MOT and KL for me. I still wasn't sure but applied to MOT and ES (easily found BK and ES thru google)
Applied to MOT, got 'yes' and went for interview, then spoke to friend and found out her dd's are with MOT, and she wasn't happy about me going for the same agency!
This friend introduced me to her friend who was happy to tell me her good experiences with KL.
Applied KL, got 'yes' for both and first job on the same day for dd2!! Decision made .. been with them for almost 5m now.
If in doubt go with advice you can honestly trust.

TwinGirls2003 · 28/02/2006 14:18

yummymummy321 - I'm sorry for implying that you were a BK spy! My comments wern't aimed at you in particular but it has been noted in the past that Debi Clark often posts on internet forums. I've never heard of any other agency boss doing that so I guess it just makes me a bit suss!

yummymummy321 · 28/02/2006 14:20

Allie - LOL! Yes!!!!

Tigeryuan - fair comment...we are all different...you should call them!! I speak to them all the time if i am not sure of anything! They must be so bored of me by now, but it seems to work!!!!!!!! LOL!!!!!!

tigeryuan · 28/02/2006 14:20

mythumbelinas - you made the right decision!!

Yumms - Well, if you know one from B&B, shouldn't be difficult to figure out who it was - they have an office of three employees. :o

I moved from BK as I thought there were too many children on their books. DS was quite keen on this modelling lark so I thought he might have better luck with a smaller agency. Time will tell!

This is a tough industry and I think that any work that is obtained is incredibly fortunate! So many sweet faces out there and so few assignments.

Sorry to say that my impression was the same as LB's - had something very similar to this happen a couple of times in the past 6 months or so on other boards.

Yummy and 007 - drop in a bit more frequently - we don't bite and we love to hear about everyone's experiences WRT shoots, castings etc.

We are one big happy, fluffy, marshmallowy modelling family here!!!!!

izzyrubi · 28/02/2006 14:52

izzyrubi · 28/02/2006 15:23

nothing to do with modelling now but anyone can tell me the difference between an infant school and a nursery school? I'm still completely lost on the UK system :)
