Bubblerock started this with her DH, and thought it might be good to do a MN one.
You have till Monday the 13th of FEB to find something in a charity shop for £1.50 or under...We will list them, link them and see who wins

Cheers CC - Me and DH (slightly subdued) are definately in! Bring it on!

fastasleep · 05/02/2006 21:01

The winner is the person with the biggest price? All righty then, I guess!

charliecat · 05/02/2006 21:02

Not sure To end at the weekend I guess, the weekend after the 13th

OP posts:
katzg · 05/02/2006 21:03

fastasleep · 05/02/2006 21:03

I'm guessing I can't do what I usually do which is buy lots of 20p beaded necklaces, take them apart, make something new... and sell it on?

mistressmiggins · 05/02/2006 21:03

fastasleep · 05/02/2006 21:08

Lol I do! Was one of my last 'ideas'...

I now have a new top secret jewellery 'idea' which is very hush hush and involves buying books I haven't got yet

colditz · 05/02/2006 21:09

Does it have to be our account or can we use someone elses? I don't have and don't want a sellers account but my dad will let me use his.

bubblerock · 05/02/2006 21:10

Shall we say items must be listed by midnight on Monday 13th

Listing fees no more than 40p

7 day listing

£1.50 maximum - doesn't matter what you buy.

Post a link on this thread

Whoever makes the most profit is the winner.

No cheating - getting your mates to bid.

Anything else???

charliecat · 05/02/2006 21:10

As long as its your listing thats fine colditz

Kidstrack2 · 05/02/2006 21:10

OK HOW DO WE DO IT?

bubblerock · 05/02/2006 21:11

It doesn't matter wat ebay account you use, as long as we can see the listing

katzg · 05/02/2006 21:12

okay i'm a bit dull what does this mean?

Listing fees no more than 40p

is that a starting bid price?

charliecat · 05/02/2006 21:12

Trawl the charity shops, find a bargain, come back here..er...not sure when we are listing, BR when did you list yours to end tonight?

OP posts:
Nbg · 05/02/2006 21:12

Am off to do a bit of research

charliecat · 05/02/2006 21:13

No spending £15 quid putting your item on Ebays Home Page then

OP posts:
Nbg · 05/02/2006 21:14

Katz, you can pick how you show your item so you pay more for having a gallery picture and showing more than one piccie etc...

chjlly · 05/02/2006 21:15

I'll give it a go but my things never seem to sell

GeorgieVickyLou · 05/02/2006 21:17

If i can get to a Charity Shop i'll play. This could be the most excitment i'll get this year

bubblerock · 05/02/2006 21:17

When you list your item you can add all sorts of things to make it sell better - a regular listing starting at £1.50 with a photo shouldn't cost anymore than 40p.

I would place the listing on Ebay between 7pm -10pm on Monday 13th it will then finish 7 days later at the same time. Then we can keep an eye on them finishing - which is the best bit usually.
