TROLLS ...

I have been "treading the boards" for a while now .... forgive me if I am wrong and PLEASE don't think that I am insensitive .... but there are a couple of posts which I have recently read that TBH don't ring true .....
Anyone out there smella rat / troll ???

Agree roscoe ... there are a couple and because the topics are rather sensitive ... IF I am wrong then I am doing the poster a GROSS disservice. That is why I am reluctant to name the posts.
However I am rather concerned that the post a few days back ... and one more recently MIGHT be taking the pi$$.
What trolls should realise is that we are all genuinely trying to help fellow posters and it sticks in my throat when we are being made fools of.

Cant say that Ive noticed any. Who should we be looking out for?

Why don't you change your name rollercoaster and then you can spill the beans. I'm sure who ever it is would like to stick up for themselves and your going to make people paranoid. Just realised what a stupid idea we'll all still know

Does it really matter if there are trolls?

Sometimes the subjects bring up interesting debates anyway, or advice that will be useful to others - particularly about 'delicate' subjects where others might be going through these situations for real but are too embarrassed to post.

If they're really odd or perverse postings we ignore them/give them hell anyway.

I thought of tomboy because posts contradicted each other and others seemed deliberately provocative. Can't do links to threads though.

Yes I searched as well and no doubt that person is one. At least you know not to get upset by any comments that may make..just ignore them.

The people I suspect are talking about personal experiences and are not "spoiling for a fight".
