DO IT! My cervix was too eroded to do it w/o a lot of pain last week - I was 7 weeks post partum - so my big day is now 16 March.

No, it's the new 'thin prep' sponge tip, but I was sore down there. Doubt any abnormal cells would have avoided being sloughed off by that birth!

I also separted my rectus abdominus and partially tore a groin muscle in the delivery, so it hurt like hell to lay in that spread eagle posture.

it's called a 'thin prep' smear and it's a sponge tip. i have to go back, tho, b/c my cervix was too eroded from the birth.

i could do with a fanny monitor have had two reminders and keep putting off appointment which is a bit naughty of me cos have had abnormal smears in the past!!!
