Actually I cried in the supermarket this week, and last night in bed and this morning in the bakery. Oh and I felt like crying when DP came riding with me, but I didn't. I'm not even depressed, just a hormonal mess

I'm pooped tonight. There's nothing like rowing til 4:30am to ensure that everyone feels tired and shit the next day!

Hope making the appointment and having a sort out have helped make you feel a bit better jacks.

I resisted my urge to redo the rooms....mostly because I realised I would want the dining room carpeted before it before it became a play room

Dh is moaning I'm not talking to him so I better go entertain his majesty :)

Bloody, bloody hell. :(
Was on my way to my appointment, having cancelled my entire afternoon to make time for it, when they rang and said "where are you?"
me: "in my car, on my way"
them: "when will you be here"
me: "at 3 pm, I'm just getting on the highway"
them: "your appointment is ay 2 pm"
me: "errrrr no, it's at 3 pm"
them: "no, it's at 2 pm, when will you be here"
me: "did you miss the part where I said I was just getting on the highway, I will be there at 3 as you told me"
them: "no, your appointment is at 2"

Rinse and repeat a few times - with me getting more and more forceful whilst repeating that I rescheduled everything to be there at 3 pm as they told me. The woman was a twunt. The upshot was, they claimed they had no more time for me if I couldn't be there at 2, and I had to reschedule.Next available? May 4.

I am so upset.

Oh jacks! That's terrible. May the 4th will be here soon even though I'm sure it feel a million miles away to you at the minute. I'd make sure they send you written appointment time so they can't pull this one again. Really feel for you.

Jacks that is awful - not a nice start for you having taken the big jump of making the appointment.

I felt so utterly shit yesterday afternoon I rang the counsellor I'd seen after I had JB. Fortunately she could see me right away. I sat in her office and sobbed for most of the appointment. Seeing her again tomorrow.

So pleased you got hold of her and that she could see you. Hope tomorrow goes okay. xxx

Very very early days but went for first gynae appointment yesterday and got a blurry picture of a little black blob.

So exciting!!! DP is beside himself and deciding names already...

I'm feeling absolutely fine - am still running and riding for now. I'm only 5 weeks though so I'm bracing myself for sickness etc in the next couple of weeks.

I've got everything crossed. The gynae said it was in the right place and everything yesterday, so all fine at the moment :)

I was trying not to jump the gun on thinking about names but after seeing the photo of the little blob yesterday (you get a scan every 2 weeks here!) DP came over all parental and we were having a chat about naming.

I like Claudia, Benjamin and Beatrice
DP likes Fritz (!), hates Claudia and Beatrice and thinks Benjamin is old fashioned.
So far we both like Iolo (boy) and Isolde, Liesel, Genevieve and possibly Martha (girl)

Lots of time to fall out about it discuss it yet though! I hate all German boys names, so it might well end up with a welsh boys name, but as he will be growing up in German perhaps saddling him with a Welsh name would be a bit unfair!!

I love lots of German girls names but DP doesn't really like many of them!

I like your name choices :) it's such a massive decision choosing a name. I had a list for both of mine then chose once they were born. Dh still doesn't like dd2s name but she suits it and I love it, plus it was my turn to choose :)
