I'm on a new short term diet from today. It's one of the ones my mum sells through her business. You have a shake for breakfast and lunch then a low calorie tea. Fingers crossed it works coz nothing else has!stupid medication :( I'm so worried about having back fat in my dress! I've got one more dress fitting this week then pick the dress up next week! Not long now :)

We are looking at Egypt for our honeymoon or cape verde.dp is worried if he books it today then there will be a massive sale tomorrow so who knows if we'll ever go away haha

Well ladies, I posted yesterday but it obviously didn't show up. Probably quite a good thing as it was a pretty miserable post. The brother of a girl in Number one's class died on Friday and the class were told about it yesterday. :( What's even more horrific is that there's talk (of course nothing is known until after inquest) that it was suicide. Just horrific for the whole family.

ANYWAY! Need to be lifted out of funk with some mindless banter...come on girlies.

Erm I'm a bit short on banter today - lots of cr*p going on at work.... but the good news is its only 2 weeks until the Easter holidays....

He was 21.

Is it the usual fun and game politics of a school or is there other stuff going on for you? I do think that's one of the many fantastic things about being a teacher - there's always a break of some sort in sight! We break up in two and a half weeks. :)

Please help me find a honeymoon! We still haven't booked anywhere, we mistakenly thought we'd get a last minute bargain but instead the prices are going up aaaargh

No SBKS, everyone's worries are 'big' for them, and believe me, even having lost a child doesn't mean you never worry about other things again. I always made sure my friends could moan to me about stuff that was going on in their lives because one's own worried are always legitimate no matter what is going on with others. (Does that make any sense?)

Will have fun this evening looking for honeymoons for you. What are your criteria?

Its just the usual school niggles - kids that can't behave, assessments which need to be done, school politics.... I'm finding my patience a bit thin at the moment

Well update is we have booked the honeymoon. Dp was fixated on this one hotel in Egypt that has a suite with a jacuzzi on the balcony and he couldn't get the suite, but he's found it now. We fly on Friday the 13th eeek (of April) dp isn't the best flyer and the whole Friday 13th is freaking him out a bit.

Dd1 is poorly, she has a high temp and is very lethargic. She just sat on my knee all day, it's not like her at all.

Poor honey. :(

NWN - so sorry about your Number 1's friend - that's awful :(

Stepdad was transferred to a rehab facility today, where he'll be spending about 4 weeks :(
Apparently he was lucky, his speech and strength on one side of his body are affected, but overall he seems to be doing well. Thank you all for asking.

Jacks - You've got so much going on right now. Wish I could reach out and give you and MN hug. Tbh I don't have anything wiser to add to the other people who have posted on the other thread. All I can reiterate is that YOU ARE NOT A SHIT MUM. You are a mum having a shit time - there is a big difference.

Evening ladies. I am sitting here imagining myself the size and shape and with the talent of the skaters on Dancing on Ice. If I carry on thinking about it long enough do you reckon it'll come true?

So, how has everyone's weekend been? Ours has been lovely. Had some lovely people over for lunch yesterday and today we've been back to the aquatic shop and bought 3 more fish and more plants for our tank. I love it so much!
