I feel ready for the wedding but also like I've forgotten something! We met with the priest yesterday and filled in all the paperwork and we are meeting him again on thursday to pick readings and hymns. Any suggestions anyone??

How is your planning going cup? Don't worry there will be looooads of pics on facey because we aren't having a proper photographer just everyone taking pics on their cameras and phones so will be plenty of rubbish creative ones I'm sure but hoping my friends dp gets some good ones (he has the swankiest camera and loves taking pics-he is out 'official' photographer lol)

Got no plans for today (faffing around the house and doing nothing with number three this morning, and then work this afternoon). This evening I'm out for supper with two friends for my birthday. Will hopefully be nice, but they've had a bit of a wobble going on since one of them got re-married and doesn't 'need' the other in the same way as she used to. Can make it a bit uncomfortable...but let's hope!

Yayyyyy I got the job!!

So now at least I know that when I move in with DP this summer I've got my new shiny job all ready and waiting for me in September

Wedding planning has gone on the back burner a bit since we got back to Germany. We did lots of stuff while we were in the UK over Christmas - I got my dress, we went to the registry etc etc. Since we've been back its been a bit out-of-sight out-of-mind, but we've got lots of time yet....

JB (JackBaby or JackBoy) is now 4. How on earth did that happen.
And he's going to have a Pirate Party! He wants to dress up as a pirate, we're getting a pirate cake, DH went and got pirate plates, serviettes, cups etc... should be really cute.

I'm having a tough day - some work stuff, some personal stuff, some aches and pains and I have PMT-from-hell. I don't know if I posted about it in the summer or if anyone remembers but I really struggle badly with PMT, it turns me into a tearful hateful demon from hell.
I've already put my foot in it on another thread and would rather not do it again so I may take a break for a few days, but I've got this thread Watched, and I promise I will be back. xxJM

And then I posted about it on another thread and started ranting about mnhq's current trigger-happy deletion policy and someone else said I was being harsh. I don't think I was but in this kind of state even a comment like that sends me to the floor.
Anyway, thank you for being so kind. I haven't had a bad month like this for a while, last month for example was really good. So overall I'm getting better.

Friday today - yay! I'm back to the old routine of driving down to DP and then sitting bored off my head in the restaurant all weekend. I'm hoping to arrange some horse riding though, now that its spring to give me something to do.

Jacks, don't you dare slope off and do PMT by yourself! That's not allowed it's what we're here for. I can be the screaming banshee from hell (most of the time actually but let's not go there ) but feel much more relaxed, and apparently I am, when I take an evening primrose and star flower oil supplement. Have you ever taken anything like this, it's certainly worth a try. Anyway, four year old's parties are enough to send anybody over the edge!

I have just had a day out with my mum which has been really nice as she's been very ill recently. Think she is probably on her knees this evening but we had a laugh. DS2 is at a sleepover, he'll be horrible tomorrow then!, and DS1 is zapping something in the other room. I need to go and put away the grocery shopping, how much did that cost again this week, but I really can't be bothered!

Cup of tea and that grocery shopping calls, will pop back later.

Having a lovely time so far. I'm so giddy for tonight! Off into town shopping soon, I have a dress for tonight but might buy something new if I fall in love with it :)

Going horse riding next Sunday - can't wait!

It's from next and is black with blue and orange flowers.it's a bit like a tea dress and I'm wearing it with orange earrings,bracelet and belt and with black tights and heels. I didn't get a new dress but I'm happy with my outfit :)

Small child's birthday party is over. Much fun, cupcakes and ice cream was had by all, parents and children alike. Parents all over Langley are now dealing with kids coming off a massive sugar high :o

OTOH, so are we . DH, bless him, is playing on the floor with DS, exploring the new Playmobil.
I'm having a cuppa and want to go to bed.

If anyone needs any snacks, they're all at our house. All of them. I have the world's snack supply at my house. We bought a leeeeeetle too much food . Now to exercise my self-discipline and not think about crisps, biscuits, ice cream cake, pita crackers and dip, veggies and dip...

Ugh. Speaking of too tired. It's 07:40 am and DH just left for the airport. He's going to California for another course. Fortunately we are going to join him there on Weds (Laguna Beach, temps in the 20s, aaahhhh...) but the intervening two days will be of the "tightly scheduled" variety, with very little wiggle room.
There's more coffee over -> there if anyone wants.

Well done Jacks, I used to hate small children's parties when my two were small, hosting them that is, it is so much easier now they are older - less children and not at home - hold onto that thought

I spent the wettest of wet morning standing on a touch line watching my boys play rugby - having a very proud mummy moment now! Now contemplating work tomorrow .

WOW!! Never thought I'd make it back onto the thread - feel like I've been away for ages. I'd love to regale you with wild and wonderful tales of why I've been offline...but the reality is very boring! I just couldn't keep up with life! It was one of those weeks where everything is going on around you and you just feel like you're a hamster in a wheel trying to keep up!

Jacks - California!!! We have had snow and sleet all day here (sounds a bit like mango's weather). Congrats on getting through the party btw.

I feel so sorry for you Cup, UTIs are horrible and you do seem to be plagued. I know someone from America who suffered similarly. It turned out she had a kink somewhere after the bladder which just meant she was more likely to get them. There was something she took which drastically cut the frequency of them, but I'm being useless and can't remember what it was - I'll try and get in contact with her and find out if you'd like.

SBKS probably needing a bit of recovery time - can't wait to hear details when she's back around. Do you think she could do a live feed of the wedding for us like they did for the royals?

So ladies, this week I am planning on getting my life into order. I am going to figure out when I can regularly get out to train for this hideous 10k, I am going to have a huge throw out/tidy up in the house/ I am going to figure out a way to spend less time on planning/ I am going to get on top of my out of control eating. Bloody hell i've got a lot that needs sorting! Watch this space!!
