Well I've given birth w/o pain relief but I couldn't imagine doing some of the other things mentioned on this thread! So I don't think I'm that 'ard, really.

I had a home-birth with ds, who turned out to be 2lb bigger than his sister!

I once whacked a violent, drunked and probably stoned guy in the balls with my umbrella!

I had to walk into a classroom of 16 French teenagers and teach them. I had no teaching experience and no plans with me!

I was placed on a tough council estate by my old woprk, coz I fitted in there, and whenever I was scared I just gave my maiden name and they'd shut up! . Even the ones who had just odne a teenage lad with a baseball bat for asking their daughter out. My family are a scary tough bunch.

Ok, they're not really, but most of them were bad types in their teens and when your father is one of sixteen trouble making teens in a three bed council house, they get a rep!

Induction with no pain relief btw.

I did grow up on a council estate in a place (bridgwater) known for being rough. Am I tough? Yep. . Am I simultaneously soft and stupid with it? of course.

i furiously pummeled some very big bloke at the notting hill carnival last year who had drunkenly toppled onto me and elbowed me in the stomach..i was 7 months pregnant and very protective of my bump!
my friends were stunned and had to drag me away and force him to apologize..i'm very ladylike normally hehehee

went camping during both pregnancies, around 6 months and camped on europes largest sand dune 1st time so not the easiest place to walk around! and 2nd time at a music festival with systitus (sp?)

chased off 2 muggers who were beating up some young guy.

waited outside a loo to have a word with a girl who had messed around with my mates fella and scared the living crap out of her!!

eeek! at a music festival with cystitis!!

i'd have resorted to wearing nappies...hehehe
