I have fillings WITHOUT the injection -- I think the injection is horrible and hate the dribbles afterwards

BUT I had to have an epidural when DTs were born

So I am well 'ard and a marshmellow

Surgery on my heart, via a probe/catheter thing pushed up from a vein in my groin under LOCAL ANAESTHETIC!

I sat at the kitchen table eating porridge with my DS whilst in transition (DD born 45 mins later).

I attended a children's birthday party with two children and without DH the day after giving birth. OK it was only across the road and things went downhill once I actually went to the toilet and the piles came back.

I never have an injection at the dentist.

But really I am quite soft.

my mum had her eyes 'done' under local anaesthetic. So was awake while they cut strips off her eys and sewed them up again

Had root canal done without pain relief (altho tooth was dead so maybe doesn't count)

Had two wisdom teeth out in the dentist's chair, just pulled with pliers like a horse.

Ventouse delivery and huge tear with dd - no drugs (that was a bad move but no choice given).

But then I hate having my hair washed at the hairdressers as they really hurt my scalp. . So I am both well hard and an utter creme puff.
