Bought Jessicaandrebeccasmummy's Marco Sky a few months ago now. When it arrived the moukded plastic on the back wheel was snapped so we can't use it.... I emailed 2Became4 where the pram originally came from and they were brill and said that if I could supply the name and address of the original buyer they would send out a new set of wheels to me, which they did.... after a couple of weeks we managed to get the wheel off (had a funny fastening) and realised that the new wheels didn't fit because they are for the newer model.
After a few more weeks of correspondance the girl at 2Became4 is still trying to find me a set of wheels but now says that the warehouse is unlikely to have the older style and she may only have an old set on an old used pram. She also said that as the original buyer bought from Ebay it isn't actually 2became4 (even though it is actually from there originally) because they don't have a shop on Ebay

DP is getting more and more wound up about it and is starting to tell me to send it back - obviously I don't want to put JARM in that position but I don't know what to do.......can anyone help???

Yes 2became4 are the 'official' imported for the UK of Marco Sky and they have been really good about it. I might ask for Xena's number - I feel a bit bad though as it's not really her problem anymore - same reason as I feel bad to hassle J&RM but dp is driving me round the bend asking me what I'm going to do as we really can't afford to be getting another pram and time is running out!! I'm assuming that it's gotten broken in transit as j&rm didn't know it was broken as she never used it and tbh I didn't notice until I had ds in it and went for a walk with it and the wheel was wobbling about all over the place - so it could have even been when it went from lockets to j&rm, who knows....aaarrrrgggggghhhh!!!!

i'm sure xena won't mind! you only really need to know who the original seller was....

do you know which courier jarm used to post it to you?

J&RM said she didn't even try it - just put it up, saw how big it was and put it straight back down again to get rid of! If that's what she did she prob wouldn't have noticed as I never noticed until I started walking outside with ds in it

Lockets you are a star but please don't go out of your way un-necessarily(sp?!) I feel bad enough!!
Hopefully J&RM will remember who she sent it with - I've got a feeling it was a private courier but for the life of me can't think!!

i just had a quick look through archives... jarm definitely said she put jess in it! and lots of thread saying how good it was... so she definitely didn't just package it up straight away.

hope she sees this soon..

jessicaandrebeccasmummy · 07/01/2006 17:21

Hi girls - jsut seen this.

Jess sat in the buggy, but didnt take it outside.

Didnt notice anything wrong with it when we posted it, and not sure to be honest if i am able to make a claim on the insurance - it was done through POSTVAN.COM online, so will need to check that out, bear with me.

jessicaandrebeccasmummy · 07/01/2006 17:25

lockets - can we talk on msn in a bit?

MarsLady · 07/01/2006 18:14

hi Zephyr.

Do you have a buggy repair shop nearby? I took my gorgeous gorgeous lovely Marco in for a service just before Christmas. He tightened the wheels for me and suggested that I let him replace them in a few months.

He thinks that it is a simple job and he knows what size wheels to order. He said it shouldn't cost much.

I'm a great believer in taking buggies in for a service. They last so much longer that way.

hth
