I got 19, but shouldn't have got the one wrong that I did!
No calculator, but it did take me quite a while!

skerriesmum · 26/09/2005 18:24

I got only 11 on the maths one, but 19 on the English. I didn't even take higher level maths. Ugh!

tribpot · 26/09/2005 18:33

I got 17 but at least 4 of those were complete guesses. I STILL can't do long division, so had to cheat on the lottery question, I'm ashamed to say. I had literally spent half an hour trying to divide the lottery winnings by 7 and getting a different answer every time.

Tabs · 26/09/2005 18:42

20/20 - would have been too embarrassed to post otherwise, as I have a GCSE, 2 A levels and a degree in maths!!!

marthamoo · 26/09/2005 18:57

I gave up at question 3. Maths and moo are incompatible.

nerdgirl · 26/09/2005 19:10

Another 20/20 here but then I had to live up to my nickname!

gingernut · 26/09/2005 19:14

19 with no calculator. Would have been 20 with a calculator (assuming I pressed the right buttons that is).

I found this much harder than the English one from a couple of weeks ago which is strange as I got an `A' in A level maths (19 years ago) but wasn't much good at English at school.

hunkermunker · 26/09/2005 19:54

15/20 - and I guessed three of those right. Am appalling at maths. Feel all stressy now. No wonder I work with words for a living - got 20/20 on the word test! I'd love to be better at maths and I do try hard to understand it, but it feels like someone's unravelling my brain when I try to do some of those sums!

charliecat · 26/09/2005 19:55

ScummyMummy · 26/09/2005 19:55

Had a temper tantrum and walked out of the exam room. Partner is still laughing.

THANK YOU

Janh · 26/09/2005 20:01

I got 19/20 on English test because I thought "I have found my long lost brother" needed a ! more than a -.

I did the maths one ages ago, can't remember what I got but somewhat less than 19, it is much harder.

motherinferior · 26/09/2005 20:06

I'm not even going to try. I got an A at O-level maths, dammit, even if that was in 1979. And that's the last time I'm doing anything mathematical.

QueenOfQuotes · 26/09/2005 20:07

haven't looked anyone else's scores yet - but I bet i've done the worst

13 - and I guessed 6 of them

trace2 · 26/09/2005 20:09

DH got 16

bran · 26/09/2005 20:11

Wow - I got 19/20 for English! Now that's a surprise because normally I'm not even the slightest bit pedantic about grammer (well, OK a little pedantic, but very lazy).

QueenOfQuotes · 26/09/2005 20:11

I just got 15/20 for the English.

PollyLogos · 26/09/2005 20:12

My pleasure Charliecat!

Me too janh! (long lost brother!)

gingerbear · 26/09/2005 20:28

NannyL · 26/09/2005 20:41

full marks for me too 20/20

mummytosteven · 26/09/2005 20:43

18 for the English and 17 for the Maths. Thought the maths was way harder.
