Tea Room the Fourteenth

Welcome to the 14th instalment of the Tea Room. It's now officially spring, and we've moved the tea room to a Gipsy caravan pulled by the tea room horses, which is making its way up the countryside in an effort to follow spring. There are of course hedgerows filled with spring flowers, Mellors the handsome gardener/driver/handyperson, the usual virtual Bishops, and the assorted animals and characters from previous tea rooms. All are very welcome to join in with us parents of one (or indeed more!) for general chat and the occasional very odd conversation. Climb aboard, grab a cuppa, enjoy the view, relax!...

I am certainly up for a Viking long hall, not a ship, that would be too too long haul (ha ha ha)

But it has lots of creature comforts, don't worry DMC, I think the faded chinz sofars will come with us, the rugs, the book shelf and of course there will be a magic room were you enter through one door and exit through another to find Mellors Spa waiting (think Mr Ben)

I would, I am afraid, be Florence. Good 'n' bossy me

Donki · 28/04/2010 20:35

Just so long as there is a pile of hay in the corner and a hook for a galvanised bucket. My hooves won't hold a drinking horn very well!

RacingSnake · 28/04/2010 20:37

I think I would be one of the other children you saw on the roundabout at the beginning.

oxeye · 28/04/2010 20:40

I don't remember it that well RS - but do you see yourself as one of the other children because you feel a bit on the outside sometimes or because you are not, actually, a large, foam (or such substitute) weird drug created doll form item?¬?

RacingSnake · 28/04/2010 21:27

Hadn't even thought of the second possibility! Do you mean they are not real??

ASmallBunchOfFlowers · 28/04/2010 22:10

They're not only real, they're .... French!

oxeye · 28/04/2010 22:49

Mon Dieu! Non!

ASmallBunchOfFlowers · 28/04/2010 23:07

Zut alors!

RacingSnake · 28/04/2010 23:17

C'est l'heure d'aller au lit!

Dee dee dee dee dee, deedee deedee dee dee ...

ASmallBunchOfFlowers · 28/04/2010 23:24

Dors bien, Serpentquicours!

thumbwitch · 29/04/2010 04:04

Ha, I am probably the only person in the world that I know who knows the names of the "other children" - Rosalie, Basil and (I think) Paul. So RS - would you go for being Rosalie, or is she too girly?

It's still French too...

We are getting very close to the post limit now so thought we'd better create the new Viking Long Hall tearoom pronto before it blocks us...

That should lead you to it.

Voila, Amber (pronounced Ombaire), un grand mug du tea avec un croissant. Aujourd'hui c'est le jour pour faire le packing avec Mellors pour le grand demanagement au Viking long hut!
