To pinch an intro from the very first one and only tea room thread. in 2009.

The tea room is now officially open, serving hot chocolate, tea, freshly-squeezed orange juice and a range of home-baked muffins. Tablecloths and crockery are charmingly mismatched antiques (no Cath Kidston here). We overlook an attractive although somewhat overgrown garden, with a distant view of rolling countryside.

Everyone is welcome but house rules dictate that anyone indulging in fisticuffs will be ejected.

We seem to have fetched up in Ireland, this place looks remarkably like a pub,There is even a guiness barrel over there. The NMBs are all sporting shamrocks. The mirror ball is here, but I leave teh rest of the unpacking to someone else.

Oh Irish pub means full Irish breakfast!! And Irish .

To be sure, here we are in merry Ireland! I see Donki's been booked on the overnight ferry (First Class) and is bringing with her the tea room horses Early and Lady Grey, the bison, various other assorted animals and a selection of Bishops and other faith leaders. Jolly good. And from the very small bites in my morning toast and the footprints in the butter, I'd say the NMBs are already here too?

Ooo hello ladies! I have not been on much lately and keep forgetting about the tearoom!

Oh, I am glad to see the charmingly overgrown garden again! I well remember Wriggle splashing in puddles out there and carrying her guinea pig in a bucket (before it realised that guinea pigs can move and sent its alter ego in here to RacingPig) ... and now she's nearly 5!! Mellors made bonfires with the tea room children, I seem to remember ... with them, not out of them, Amber. Time for him to get back to gardening; he's been focussing exclusively on massage recently.

I see we seem to have gathered an interesting collection of chickens too - all shapes and sizes. They probably followed the trail of breadcrumbs that Unis left.

Any one for a fried egg with some freshly picked mushrooms?

all round - if you want to fill them with something stronger than tea, that's up to you - but there appears to be plenty of choice.

Yummers for breakfast. White and black pudding please. Yes. Pub breakfasts one of my fondest memories of Ireland. That, and getting engaged!!

Loving watching mellors in the garden with wriggle, cmot tiddler, mistlechick, milk, kittenito and gatita, oxboy and Uniboy and jbaby all building bonfires and running around in their watwrproofs. I can see lct and babyscout are nearly ready to join! Girl is enjoying joining in by helping the little ones. I love our children

I hope someone has a hand on LCT or he'll be in the bonfire. He's the curious sort...aren't they all at this age?

Feeling the need to be looked after this morning - people keep telling me to look after my poor AP, DH obviously needs a lot of looking after since he finds uncertainty impossible to deal with and times are very uncertain, Wriggle keeps standing in front of me saying 'You need to look after me' , the various dogs, cats, guinea pigs, chickens, chicks and quails keep reminding me of their needs, my class needs lessons written for them tomorrow .... the weak link is that no one looks after me.

And every time I sit down to work on DH's CV, my project for this morning, AP comes in to ask me something - literally every couple of minutes.

And trip to London is off and it was my Treat For Myself and I was looking forward to it ...

However ... briskly pulls self together ... it's nearly time for lunch and it's brocoli soup - can I interest anyone in a small bowlful ... nice to see MistleChick has been making rolls again.

Ooh, a tearoom in Ireland!

I am also back in Ireland. I got here last wednesday. So 8 months after I left I am finally back and trying to acclimatise (sp?). So, how is everyone? One new face I think (Tee?) and the rest are name changers right? I popped in briefly at a moment of distress some months back while still travelling but should be back permanently now. xxx

I found some fun rubber duck mirrors but one of the sizes is 2cm by 2cm. Really?!

Yeah, what is the difference between a full English and full Irish breakfast? is it just which country teh eggs and sausages come from?

I'm still me as well, the only difference is that I'm drinking guinness!
