Washing is hung up on screen @DirtyGertiefromno30 Having a rubbish tea😄 Mini pork pie, bit of decidedly er tangy cheese (no mould to be seen but definately heading that way 😆) and a bag of crisps. Hmm not entirely appetising 😆
Might have a cinnamon swurl to make up for it😉

That sounds delish to me 😋! What l wouldn't give for a pork pie with that gorgeous pastry @Thebookofcarolagain . Baked pots and cheese and DH pork chop dinner . I didn't fancy it because my jaw has been aching and Porkus Choppus would give me gip 😂

I found some nephopan i had left and took 2 i also took an amytriptiline to see if it would relax the muscles a bit. Its only taken the edge off but if i get up and walk about its damm sore. Drives me barmey.
Ds1 came down and made his own tea and then put my cinnamon swirl in for me.
Think i might nab another coffee before 8😉

Oh bless you @Thebookofcarolagain, that sounds bloody painful. Hope the meds take a bit more of the edge off and it settles down soon. Nothing worse than being in pain every time you move, it really does drive you barmey .

Been a nice day but wind is back now!
Have done precious little as back still damm sore, slightly less than yesterday but still cant do much. Sciatica is still niggling a bit too. Spent half the night awake due to restless legs deciding to show up😡 Consequently had about 4 hours sleep so dozed off a few times today😡
Not happy at another wasted day.

Bloody restless legs @Thebookofcarolagain, they always seem to turn up when you really don't need them 😡 . No wonder you've been dozing today after only 4 hours sleep! At least the back is a tiny bit better, even if it's still bloody painful. Hope you get a better night's sleep tonight and the sciatica behaves itself. Sod the jobs, they'll still be there tomorrow 🤗.

I started with what l thought was a migraine aura last night but it didn't disappear like they normally do.
I had a lot of lights flashing and a huge black floater appeared. I looked the symptoms all up in Google and it looked like it was something called for short PVD or partial vitreal detachment. l was on the phone waiting for 111 last night for an hour and a half 🙄. It kept turning me off 🙄. Got to quarter to 12 and l gave up . I phoned up Specsavers this morning and got an appointment for half 2 after they asked me loads of questions to make sure it could wait. Went to see Mum who was great there thankfully and went straight to Specsavers . They put this horrible liquid in my eyes and it stung like hell !
Had to wait half an hour then they examined me . TBF to them they were amazing. They took their time with me , did a pressure test on my eyes twice , took loads of pictures and then the optician looked at them . Thank God it was that PVD thing apparently it's quite common in older ppl 😂. Hey ho old age doesn't come on it's own 😂.
I am fine now just so relieved l was so worried 😟

Oh my @DirtyGertiefromno30 what a palavar. Glad it was all ok in the end, what a scare.
Have done nothing much today. Sitting on sofa swallowing painkilkers and heat pad on.
Got to take Ds1 to dentist tomorrow. Realised too late to cancel. There's no appropriate times for buses or trains home again. I will just stay in car and he can walk up himself. Will take a book.
Ds2 was going down the street so told him to get pizza for him and ds1 for tea. i had the rest of the chicken and mash (sadly no pastry ☹️) Asked him to get me an ice cream lolly out the indivudual freezer but he forgot so got a box of Nuii berry ice creams on way round. Yummy.

At least tomorrow you can sit in the car with your book while DS1 walks himself to the dentist . Good job getting DS2 to sort the pizzas as well! And forgetting one lolly but coming back with a whole box of Nuii, he's a star bless him 😁.

Oh well @DirtyGertiefromno30 at least you know for the future. Get yourself some ne gluten free flour and bake you own cakes, much better, less crap than in them to offset the difference in gf cakes.

I went out like a light last night @DirtyGertiefromno30 amazing!
Woke just before 7, and it was raining. Was bucketing down for a couple of hours.
Off to dentists in 5 minutes. Have heat pads on my back, fingers crossed. Its still bloody sore, fed up with it.

I have been busy here , washing out , washed my hair wrapping presents up now in thedin8ng room listening to Lord Peter Whimsey on BBC sounds . Got some gf bacon and cheese crisp bakes in for dinner never had them before we shall see 😁

Bloody Asda! Went in on way back ftom taking ds to dentist. He wanted to get painkillers do I limped in for the loo and an iced coffee. Back in car, 'box' of coffee in hand, shook it to mix properly and it sprayed all over me and car. Bloody fancy bit on side where lid attaches wasn't sealed right. I cba dragging myself back in to complain. Just fumed in car. Now I gotta put everything in wash to stop it staining 😡
And Zoe put the Communards on the radio and I couldn't bop along as is the law cos of my back...no fair! I want a refund of today.

Oh bloody hell @Thebookofcarolagain. What a palaver! I’d have just sat there fuming too, especially knowing you’ve now got to wash everything because of the bloody coffee 🙄.
And then the Communards comes on and you can’t even bop along because of your back yah boo sucks!
You definitely need a refund for today ! The cheese bakes are not good after all that too! The crispy breadcrumbed outer were very nice and tasty but l couldn't taste any cheese at all ! 🙄

What?? How can they call them cheesy if you can't taste the cheese @DirtyGertiefromno30 ? Drop them an email and complain you might get a voucher back as an apology. I looked on the coffee box but there's just an address for asda. Might try thier facebook they don't like adverse publicity 😄
