Just slobbing now 😁 Chicken wings can wait till tomorrow to go in freezer. Done the French toast and cleared up.
Of course I used up the end of my tin foil with the ribs, thought I had another roll....got greaseproof paper today as i knew current roll was nearly done, . so now I have 4 rolls of bloody grease proof and no tin foil😡 numpty! Arghhhh.

Been shopping for bits from Aldi yes after a mega £100 spend in Tesco on Monday it's never ending, just like the washing !
All put away now , got a piece of Gammon in the slo cooker for tea . Broad beans , Gammon and new pots for tea , Kim Clam will have parsley sauce l will have to whistle 😂. No Parsley sauce for me !

Been pottering about. Tackled my memory box. Got it down to half! Have Xmas cards, birthday cards etc from kids in it so have taken out the kids own cards from me and others, they can decide if they want the cards or not. Save them going through it all later. Looking through my stack of old cards from my parents wedding, my birth, my 1st birthday. Such beautiful cards. I thought i had a spare photo frame i was gonna put some in but I dont. Need to get one. Even have a wedding card telegram plus a paper telegram for the wedding. Love old stuff.
Washing is out fingers crossed. Put most of my old linens and lace into machine on delicate cycle 🤞

Wow, you’ve done brilliantly getting the memory box down by half @Thebookofcarolagain! I’d be exactly the same with those old cards though. Especially the ones from your parents and your first birthday. There’s something so lovely about old things like that, they’re far too precious to throw out ❤️. Putting them in a frame sounds a perfect idea ❤️
Hope the washing stays dry 🤞 and I’m keeping everything crossed for the old linens and lace too! Now enjoy that coffee, and admire your newly organised memory box 🎁 😁👏
Well l have been busy here, 2 loads of washing and drying done and hoovered the downstairs and just got the Gammon out of the slo cooker and washed that up and put it away . Mum is absolutely fine with my sister so obviously the antibiotics are working thank God. Just going to finish my book and have a cuppa too 😁👏👍☕

Rain that was forecast has stayed away so far, yeah. Linen and lace survived 😄
Ds2 got me tin foil on way home yeah!
Dozed off on sofa this is ridiculous!
Wind is going mad again so not putting linens out, don't want them damaged (although some are quite robust) I dont expect they are worth much but if i can get a few bob for them then they are out of my cupboard. 😄

Honestly, you and that washing are having a full on fight to the death 😂.
Thank God good old DS2 came through with the tin foil, he’s earned his keep today bless him 😂 . And falling asleep on the sofa again, you’re just like me l had 20 mins in between cuppas 😂☕.
Definitely don't put the lace out in that wind, they'll be halfway to me in Wales before you’ve even made a cup of tea 😂 . If you can get a few bob for them and clear some cupboard space, crack on @Thebookofcarolagain 👏👍😁

Just did a fry up for tea and used up some bread for fried bread😋 Ds2 came down at the right time and helped. I nipped out for washing. Being really greedy and having a cinnamon swirl for afters!, I need to get a grip!

Just chilling watching you tube stuff. Been learning all about the mega fauna of prehistoric times on ASMR History. So interesting. And when Dion trips over a word he always makes me laugh with his humour.

Gammon does make you drink like a fish, that's the only thing about it @Thebookofcarolagain ! And Mrs Doyle is only encouraging you a little bit 😁 That ASMR History sounds really interesting too but l know me I’d get sucked into all that prehistoric stuff and be down that rabbit hole before you could say jack rabbit 😂
Thirsty now will have to take water to bed and be up all night weeing hey ho 😂

Grr rubbish night, couldn't sleep then woke after an hour after one of those dreams where you need to do something but can't find the place, keep getting sidetracked by people and you know you are taking three times as long as it should do. Came down and had a cuppa and put a story compilation on tv and slept on sofa.
Up at 7.30 and all ready to go to job centre and it's not for 1 3/4 hours 😁
Cloudy and windy yet again. Grr.

Then you’re up at 7.30 and ready for the Jobcentre nearly 2 hours early ! Calm down Mrs Organised 😁. Hope the interview goes well and your day improves as it goes on 🤞🙏.

Job Centre was closed @DirtyGertiefromno30 Notice on door saying it was not opening at 11. That's weird so was a bit confused. Went to car then went back to double check and met my advisor. Security guard had not turned up and they arent allowed to open without one. So will get another appointment.

Have browned pork shoulder steaks and they are in oven for later. So organised! What happened!
Looks ok out window but wind is flipping chilly. Your weather sounds awful hope washing dries.

Ah thank you l got the washing dry thankfully 😁. Windy and chilly still here. Mum was ok thankfully 🤞🙏, not long got back home and had tea and toast , put the washing away and now to empty the dishwasher. Looks like it's going to rain but the weather forecaster has given a good weekend so we shall see 😁

Just read the leccy and gas meters and sent them off . I am going to have increase my direct debit but about £100 a month to cover the increase in our Winter usage l think . Bloody petrol 171.9 a litre for unleaded😱.

Bmimey that's a jump @DirtyGertiefromno30 electric is ridiculous isn't it? And fuel just crazy.
After being so organised i havent done much more. Just doing waffles to go with the steak for ds2 for tea before he goes to work.
Its raining so I suspect i will be giving him a lift😄
Am hungry now I made his tea😁😁

Had some small pots to use up so had them with the pork steaks, carrots and onions in the pan with steaks, peas done, plate full! Yummmmy. Definately the best way to cook them, oven for about 1 1/2 hrs. Had coffee and banana bread too. Stuffed! The bit of banana bread was toooo big.
I know gas and electricity are ridiculous, barefaced cheek.
Ds1 of course was out for the count when I shouted up if he was ready for tea and then came down once I was halfway through mine. He got his own..😄
Jammies on and stuck to sofa for rest of the night 😄 (unless its bucketing down about 10pm!)

Sunny well it was sunny but blowing a gale. Washing just finished and I was gonna hang it out but there's black clouds a gathering and firecast is rain so...nope!
Was out planting out my largest foxglove rosettes in garden, pulling weeds as i went. Was nearly blown away. Quick water, quick water of pots out back then back in. Just stop! I have more foxgloves!
Hope you are all avoiding the wind

Beautiful day here , washing out ,been up to the food festival, library and pharmacy to pick up my prescription, picked up bread and milk , needless to say the prescription wasn't there 🙄.
You’ve been blown all over the garden by the sound of it @Thebookofcarolagain😱! Foxgloves everywhere and still more to plant , you lucky thing l love Foxgloves ❤️ .Hope you manage to stay indoors and out of that mad wind now 😁.

OMG @DirtyGertiefromno30 the wind got worse! Absolutely screaming round the house and the temp dropped like a stone. Then the sun came out again (of course it didn't rain) and warmed a bit. Still blowing a gale though. Ds2 was blown down the hill from work!
As i couldnt go outside i fed all my succulents and cacti, gallons of feed! 😁
I now have seven toms on one plant plus flowers and the one that had only one tomato has another one growing plus flowers!
I HATE ribs! That stupid membrane! Sometimes it just pulls off easily, not this time! I fought with 3 lots of ribs, think i got most of it off, it just kept tearing into little bits. 😡 Threw together a marinade and they are in the fridge for a while. Cleaned up the mess!. Now I need to add honey and mustard and garlic to next list!
Now sitting with a glass of wine spritzer to calm my nerves😄
What a pia about your prescriptions. They are never organised are they? Oh we have a food festival in nearby town, no idea when it was this year. Its lovely but all the fabulous products are pretty expensive. We go round tasting everything and buying just a couple of things. 😄 Did you get anything nice?
