Home again. Phew! It would be a nice walk apart from that killer hill. Knackered! Downhill to harbour, Uphill to health centre then down into town then up that sodding hill home. Nice day still though. Sea was in, splashing over walls.
Ds1 got a big box of 10 'soap' bottles! I put 2 in my rucksack, he had a rucksack full of offers from coop as well. Ds2 came down for stuff and took turns carrying the box bless him. Bakers had nowt left so got bread and reduced rolls in coop.
Now i need to phone my mech oooooooeeerrr...

Oh well he hasn't got a full price yet he will let me know tomorrow. Basically new everything brake related gulp!

Not long come home from shopping, got a few gf things from Marks for me, they had gf hot cross buns reduced and l pounced on them and can confirm l now have a supply of hcb available for me 😁. They are delicious 😋

Yep that hill is awful, so steep and uneven. Rubbish tarmac crumbling apart.
Was gonna go out and do out front but everything aches so will do it tomorrow. Its blooming cold here despite the sun too.
Prepped everything for tea, just letting the chicken strips warm-up a bit from fridge. Having chicken stir fry with sweet and sour sauce and noodles.
I am resigned to the fact that the car fix will be costly. Everything car related is so expensive these days, then you have the labour and vat. . My mech is great and would let me pay it over a couple of months if i have to. He's known me all my life and knows where I live😁😁 Ds2 has also said if its bad he will chip in but obviously I dont want to take his money even though he gets the benefit of the car at times. I am a stubborn old coot😄 Will see i might borrow money off him to pay it in one go then pay him back the next month. Good job you cant see what's in font of you. I would never have imagined my current circumstances.

Fingers crossed the car repair isn’t as bad as you’re expecting 🤞🙏. At least your mechanic sounds like a good’un and will let you pay over a couple of months. And I know you’re a stubborn old coot 😂 but if Ds2 offers to help, I’m sure he won’t mind, especially as he benefits from the car too 🤗. Paying him back next month sounds a good idea..
None of us could have imagined our lives turning out like they have ? We just have to keep plodding on and going through the motions worse luck 🙄.

It makes me laugh having tom's this late @DirtyGertiefromno30 . Was at the flowers with my little brush and had to explain to ds2 what I was doing. Philistine! 😁

Afternoon all
Been out in garden weeding, dead heading, pulled that big weed and its little brother out the trough out front. Blimey it was rooted in! Gonna put new compost in in spring and replant it with my lupins and other stuff. . Pulled the trough out from wall with the effort it took and found a load of snails so they went in the bin before it was emptied. Got a few more from other pots too. Pulled some of the stuff out of gravel in front of the pots but the drizzle turned to rain so did pots out back and came in. I usually bum shuffle around gravel to pull out all the unwanted stuff out so that can wait until its not flipping raining. Was covered in seeds! My alliun stem was broken by the wind so its hanging up to get seeds from. You never know 😁
Cut a sunflower that was bending over too much and brought it in, theres 3 heads on it so fingers crossed they other 2 bloom too.
Phew its coffee tine!

The trough sounds lovely for next spring with your Lupins and other bits. And definitely save those Allium seeds, you never know what might come of them! Fingers crossed the other two Sunflower heads open too. 🌻

Been busy here today , changed the beds and put the one load out , that load is dry and next load is just out fingers crossed . I had an appointment at the Drs for the results of my ECG and great news it was normal, so that was a huge relief. I am booked in for a load of bloods the end of the month and she's asked for a Dexa scan of my bones. Apparently ppl with Coeliac disease can suffer from Osteoporosis, thinning of the bones , so l have to have that done . See the Dr in a months time for my blood results .
Then up to see Mum who was fine there thankfully 😁
On the way home checked Mum's house and went to see her friend and husband, everyone and everything was fine with the house and them 😊.
Home then had a hcb and some cheese in toast and a big cuppa yummy . Sat down now having it and phew 🤣

I need to book a bloods appointment once I know when I have a car! Git letters from the ITP lit. They havent git my blood results for some reason so need to do more. First letter ftom the nurse says I will get a video appointment in 3 months cos I need bloods first. 2nd letter from consultant says i am on the list for appointment in October! Good grief!
Have got strawbs out freezer to make a crumble with the blackberries to use them all up and also bananas out to make banana bread. Might make some biccies too. Fingers crossed.
Still no word from mech' yet.😱

Crumble made, banana bread nearly done @DirtyGertiefromno30 . Biscuit dough in fridge to set a bit. All cleaned up.
Will put steak pie in for tea with biscuits. Waffles for kids and little pots for me.
Been raining all afternoon.

DH had tandoori pork steaks from Aldi and he thoroughly enjoyed them . I had a mushroom omelette and it was lovely 😋😁

I had a tiny sliver of the banana bread to try it when ds2 took his slice @DirtyGertiefromno30 . It was good, if I say so myself.😁 everything is boxed /canistered up. Dishes done, warm pjs on. Glass of water and painkillers and my twice a day tablet in hand 😁
Took bacon out freezer for tomorrow, (another thing to go on the list for next week!) having burgers with the rolls I got on clearance.so thought i would tart them up a bit with cheese and bacon.😁
Watching FMS getting ideas for easy cheap and delish meals😄

Have booked my bloods for next week.
My mech is waiting for the supplier to call him back he thinks its will be soon so he will call me. Car is booked in for Monday. He said the brake hoses are fine to leave as they just have to note any corrosion at all. Phew because they are a lot of work to get off and replace and you need another new attachment to fix them in place, dont asked me how it works 😄
Washing is on hopefully it wont rain before it's done 😄
