Glad to hear the dentist went fine @Thebookofcarolagain! That slurry smell sounds brutal though , you were so lucky those traffic lights were gone on the way back, sitting in that for 15 minutes would have been proper torture 🤮.

Got job centre tomorrow then ds1 has hosp on Monday, car to garage Tues. Then not budging, not going near a shop for as long as possible apart from milk or bread.😄 Need to keep money back for MOT. Hopefully it wont need much done but i know my luck😡 Theres always something.

That's a lot of life admin what with the Jobcentre, hospital appointment, and the garage back to back. But getting it all done in one go means you can fully enter lockdown mode, get the jammies on, and avoid the shops for as long as possible afterwards yay 😊

I have 4 tiny tomatoes on my plant that has flowers!!!! Whoo hoo my paintbrush worked! Fingers crossed they grow. One of my succulents is growing a flower! The big one that had a crisis and I had to repot and pull all the squillion babies off. Ds2 noticed it tonight. At least that's a good sign. One of my babies in living room is drooping so had to water it, fingers crossed. They drive me mad 😄
Got naans and popadons today, fancy a curry tomorrow.... that's Kalani on YTs fault 😄 He took his USA mate to a brill curry house, oh my it looked fab and the puddings!!!😋

Morning all.
Sunny but blowing a gale here. Went out and potted up my cyclamen, took the calendula plant out and out it in border as it would be swamped. Pulled out foxgloves and poppies in top border and pulled never ending grass out. Pulled weeds out front. Was gonna pull all the self seeders out as they are taking over but the wind is getting fierce so came in for a coffee😄 if it drops again will go out later but rain is forecast. Most of my new succulents out front are flowering like crazy, they are lovely. Really chuffed with them.
Dead headed polyanthus and firmed stakes in sunflower pots. They are really taking a battering. Nice way to pass the time, wish the damm wind would go away.

Been to see Mum and she was fabulous there thank God 🙏
She ate and drank really well for me and l was so relieved 😁.
We came home and l went to the dentist and had my crown put back on thankfully only £25 & that was money well spent . I had a cancellation at last min l was so lucky!
Went shopping to Aldi then, for stuff for Mum and us £68 only a few bits 😱. Just got home and had a protein yogurt and a cup of tea. I can't eat solids till this evening. Popped to the pharmacy and picked up my prescription. Just put the washing out and l forgot to say l bought a brown mat for the front room it was only £17 . We don't buy presents for each other so that was just a little pressie for our wedding anniversary 🤗.

You've been incredibly busy @Thebookofcarolagaindespite that fierce wind 🌬️ .Moving the Calendula to the border was a good idea and clearing out the spent Foxgloves, plPoppies, and endless grass will create loads of room and breathing space. It is wonderful that your new succulents are flowering like crazy ! You have every right to be chuffed! 😁Hopefully, the Sunflower stakes hold against the battering, and the rain holds off if you go back out. I think we have both done really well today and deserve a reward 🤣😁

I didnt get back outside as the wind turned freezing🥶 I had to shut the back door brrr. Not happy. It's still blowing a gale now. It looks glorious outside but 🥶
When we went down to job center ds1 went to coop and bakers and got us steak and gravy pies so I had one for late lunch as hadn't eaten any breakfast.

Got a new Skyrim story so 'watched' it on tv, twice, as it was very full of details I didn't want to miss as it emphasised the sadness of the story.
Zonked out and had a nap after that😄 Hopeless!

Tea is on here @DirtyGertiefromno30 , chicken Korma. Have added a tin of butter beans as they are creamy too and will make it stretch further😉 I love the smell of korma spices.
Cant beat saus, bacon and eggs plus beans yummy.
Sun is bleaching in living room window while wind rages outside! Grr.

I loved my tea but l stupidly used HP brown sauce and it's got malt barley vinegar and Rye in it but nevermind these things will happen until l am well into it 🤔🙄.

Great idea l will have to steal that one 😁. Fingers crossed that little bit of HP sauce doesn't bother me at all but l realise l am going to do things like this until l get to grips with it all . Got to just move on and take each day as it comes .

My succulent flower is gorgeous such a mix of colours all fading into each other. Will be much brighter orange once its finished if I remember correctly.

Lovely day here but still windy. Not quite as bad though.

Have pulled out all the foxgloves and cow parsley and weeds from raised area and did all the plants growing in the paving slabs. One of those that trails and grows flat looks good as it softens the wall streaming over it but its getting past now so pulled all the stems off. I cant remember the name and can't find it. Hoyed a fair few snails as well 😄
Pulled most of my nasturtiums up as just stalks left but still a few flowering stems .
Phew coffee time. If i have any energy later might do out front.

Sounds like you’ve been on a mission in the garden today @Thebookofcarolagain! There is nothing quite like that post weeding feeling of happy exhaustion and that coffee is well and truly deserved after tackling all those Foxgloves, Cow Parsley, and hurling those pesky snails 🤣. Fingers crossed the wind behaves itself and your washing stays firmly on the line! Don’t push yourself too hard to get to the front garden later , sit back, enjoy your brew, and take a well earned breather!
We got up early and went shopping, bought a couple of Christmas presents and paper , HB had lovely paper 12m for £1.29 . 12 sheets of tissue paper for 99p do l got a couple of them and bought 2 Nivea skincare boxes for £6.99 each instead of RRP of £20.
Just made myself a cheese garlic pizza my favourite l found Garlic gold spread and it is delicious 😋 l use a gf base l can't tell the difference between the normal ones l used to eat and theonrsl made yay!!

I am having a chunk of French bread covered with mozzarella and cherry toms heated in oven. And some cheesy wotsits😄 (and of course I dropped tom juice down my clean top 😡)
Still sunny but much more windy. Might go out front might not. Might go on strike😄
Despite all the damm rain ground is really dry.
Made ds2 his tea before he goes to work, he wasn't hungry last night, just knackered. There's still some curry left but am sure ds1 wont want it two nights running fussy beggar. He can get his own if he doesn't i will have it with a baked pot.😄

Cheesy Wotsits and melted mozzarella is top tier yummy, even with the classic tomato juice spill right on clean top 😁 Definitely a vote for going on strike here 🤣 ! You've done more than enough today so the front garden can wait. But l know what you are like , you will be itching to get back out there 🤣.
Hope the boys sort themselves out for tea so you can just put your feet up and enjoy your Dd1'S rejected curry in your baked spud 😁.
