Cooler , breezy and some fog here. How lovely not!
Up earlyish. Funny how I can switch off a 7.30 alarm and go back to sleep when ds2 isn't working but not when he is on an eatly shift. 😄 Oh well made sure he was up in time and I didn't have to rush to take him😃
Forecast is rain but will see.

No big plans today.

It does make you laugh how our brains work sometimes @Thebookofcarolagain. 😄 Typical that you can snooze happily when there's no rush, but on a Ds2 early shift day you're wide awake before the alarm 🤣.
The cooler breeze sounds much nicer after all the heat, even if the fog isn't the best . Fingers crossed the rain holds off long enough to enjoy a quiet day. Have a lovely day whatever you get up to. 😊🌿. I agree with you re the watering the garden twice a day unless it rains . It really needs it here l know .
Been to see Mum she was fine. Bought her washing home , their machine still isn't repaired. Dried it all and ready to take back now . Had cottage cheese bit of salad and crisps for dinner. I think jkt pots and cheese for tea 😋

Pottered around, some housework, watered all my succulents etc.

Have got chicken breasts for tea. Not sure what I am doing with them though. Might make a curry? Might just roast them. Arghhhh!

Lovecl watching them using those 500 year old wood fired ovens, shaping the dough etc. It all looks delish.

Sun is finally out here! Bit late😄
Just pottery day, housework, plants. Have everything ready to make banana muffins once bananas defrost and the extra bit of butter i needed defrosts. (typical about 3g of butter!)
Had crap night woke at 3.30 with ridiculous dreams total nonsense but disturbing. Got up had a cuppa and chilled, fell asleep on sofa then went back to bed at 5.30. Consequently slept in😡

We went early to the Matalan clearance store in Newport and bought stuff for £40 that full price would have cost us £205 , and absolute bargains there. Also bought GF stuff from Marks to try had a good look at it all there but l only bought a few things , it's so expensive there tbh 😱. Mum was fine, my sisters day today. We came home in time for the Wimbledon Mens final 😁 watching it now . Just had a nice cuppa and a tuna and cottage cheese salad very nice tbf . Nice and light not too much.

Glad the sun finally made an appearance for you @Thebookofcarolagain! 😊 Hope you enjoyed pottering, and the banana muffins will be well worth the wait. Typical to be just a few grams of butter short though 😂.

Buns are done. Not really muffins as not big enough. Had to add extra flour as bananas were too runny and it was still loose batter but they seem ok (added choc chips too😉)
Think I might have the leftover korma and a baked pot for tea. Have sausages defrosting for kids.
Watching Wimbledon too while I have a quick coffee.

I'm definitely looking forward to trying more gluten free bits, and the bargains have helped soften the blow a little bit!

They were both absolutely insane , how Sasha can operate at that level as a type 1 diabetic is unbelievable.

I know. So incredibly fit and in control . He must work hard at just that never mind the rest.

He was constantly checking his phone for his blood sugars . Unbelievable control . watching the Dark so far so good 👍 😊
