Ds2 is working early shift today so will be finished early. Might take us all for fish and chips for tea. Pretend we are on holiday! 😁

My little cactus us actually flowering this year, not just teeny fuzzy buds! 😍

We had bucketing rain a bit ago @DirtyGertiefromno30 was definately not 22! Suns back out and feels hotter, but still windy. Sat on wall outside for a bit. Might get some colour 😄
The size of flower stalk and flower coming out of the tiny fuzzy bud is amazing! There are 3 more, fingers crossed.

Just watching the rugby , Dd2 and her BF have gone to watch the BAABAAS v Wales in Twickenham.

Well car said it was 30° outside but it had been siting all day so not so sure. Was lovely though at last @DirtyGertiefromno30 .
Just got takeaway as ds2 had had enough of people by time he got home. It was busy anyway so wouldn't have got a table as they weren't answering the phone.
Got icecreams in coop too. I got peanut butter and maple syrup Nui ones for a treat, they arent too shabby but prefer the rasp ones.
Got into pjs as it was too warm in house. Sun bleaches in livingroom window all pm. Have got a damm fly annoying me i keep getting up to zap it and it disappears then when i sit down it appears again.😡

Survived and finally more bearable temperature! Have a good evening - we're watching best of Glasto for a bit of background. I shall be off to bed soon though, exhausted!

Hope you enjoyed your ice cream, even if it's not your favourite. 😄 I had to laugh at the fly. They always seem to disappear when you get up to chase them but those zapper bats are excellent, a real game changer , DH loves them 🤣

Well never got a walk @DirtyGertiefromno30. We have sun its just clouds keep coming over and it's dull and cold and wind is doing its thing. One minute it's ok then its blowing hard as it can. Not the same 15 mins on the trot!

Nope, then I spied the culpit trying to jump up over the tiny fence😁
Have lovely lilac and pink flowers in hituom border, maybe borage will check but I don't want it rampaging through the border if it is so will keep an eye on seed heads. Will collect some for a pot though as its lovely.
(The seeds you gave me @bookbook didn't all germinate and the ones that dids seeds didn't come up again next year 😢 I prob should have collected more) .
Coffee time then cooking mince for tea. Have sausages to add to bulk it out for a change.

Thanks re garden @DirtyGertiefromno30 still have gaps in top border to fill. Need more dahlias! And some smaller plants for for front. Have a few seeds growing but small or wispy so far. Not great.
Looking in bottom border I am not sure if I have weeds or they are from the seed packet. . Must see if I can find them. I suspect theres a couple of milky thistles in there!
