Sun came out!!!!!!
Went out and planted my new dahlias and tied up sunflowers more. I have a half plastic tub off foxgloves seedlings that are too crowded but they are still very small. Need to thin them out but dont want to knacker any! My snap dragons are just not getting any bigger, no idea why. Washout unless they decide to put a spurt on. Might check and see if one has roots, maybe pot a few up.
Seem to have a few of those lambsquarters in the border. Damm pests will need to pull them all.

Yay for the sunshine! 🌞 Sounds like you've been busy with the Dahlias and Sunflowers. I'd be nervous thinning those little Foxgloves too. Fingers crossed the Snapdragons have a growth spurt soon! 🤞, Lambsquarters are a nuisance!

Oops I did it again
I decided to thin my seedlings and potted up the biggest foxgloves and did a few snap dragons too. Have left the rest to see if they will keep growing. Fingers crossed.
Then I needed the tray to.put them on in the kitchen. That was currently outside covered in seedling pots. As I was taking them off I went mad and took the biggest and planted them in garden. They are all straw flowers I think so fingers crossed. Also took the aquilegia seedlings and planted them too.

As I was going back indoors ds2 appeared and asked what I was doing. He said "planting MORE plants! Like you dont have enough?" Silly boy as if that's possible 😄
Oooh look at my new surprise aquilegia (spot on Mr D) apparently its called Tequila Sunrise, its a bit fuller colours than in photos, look on t'internet, its glorious. 😍
Kitchen tidied up, plants at the ready to grow like mad...

One minute you're just thinning seedlings, the next you've planted half the garden😁. Your Foxgloves, Snapdragons, Strawflowers and Aquilegias sound like they're doing brilliantly great stuff . I had to laugh at your DS2's comment , clearly he doesn't understand that there's no such thing as enough plants! Silly boy 🌱😄

Dishes got done, by me!
There's no flowers on my bloody tomato plants . Not happy. I cut 2 tall stems down, they are supposed to be bush plants! Stuck them in the pot in ever hopefulness 😁 Gonna throw them outside if sun shines tomorrow. Cucumber flowers keep shrivelling before they open and I can pollinate them . What a farce!
After kitchen is cleaned up i am doing no more today. 😄

Your Tomatoes are being a right pain. Hopefully cutting them back reminds them they're supposed to be bush plants! 🤞 The Cucumbers aren't much better. Busy day here, going to see Mum early , then taking Dd2 for an ENT appointment then picking up Dd2 from work and bringing her home with us , her car is having an MOT . Hey ho the merrio 😊. Its a shame Wales didn't qualify, imagine the fans! USA doesn't know what hit them the fans have taken over😆

There's some great videos on you tube. USA fans dont even have footie chants, they are gobsmacked at ours. Have you seen the orange Dutch buses? Shipped over especially, amazing. The Scots drank Boston dry! They took over Fenway drums, bagpipes singing. Yet no trouble, mixing of all fans together, singing having fun.
Been and had my bloods taken, bin's out nothing exciting planned today. This weather doesn't entice you to do anything.

@Thebookofcarolagain AHH l know the tartan Army have arrived and made themselves truly known to the locals and may l say adored from what l can see online ❤️. DH has been sending me clips of the bagpipers and the fans and it's such a happy lot of ppl bless them ❤️. Good to see them all happy and no trouble at all. Shame about aWales but we just weren't good enough this time around. Nevermind there's always next time and we do live Craig Bellamy , he's another Gary Speed ❤️👏. Just picked up Dd2 , Dd1 is fine thank God she's been discharged from ENT.

Was happy last night that the guards at the watch tower outside Whiterun have finally returned. They were killed by a dragon ages ago and didn't respawn as normal. I missed them🤣 I always say hello and give them names 😁 plus the bandits in the fort along the road finally respawned so i could kill them all and get the loot. 😄 My copy of the game is not great must try and find a "new " one. Some stuff doesn't load properly.

Lack of sleep always seems to catch up with us eventually. A nap was definitely the right call. Hopefully the aches and headache ease off and you feel more like yourself tomorrow. Don't worry if tea ends up being just a sarnie tonight either 🤗.

I lost my mind and decided to paint living room doors! Sander gave up so I decided to restick bits of wallpaper that were apoarently drying out and starting to peel. Then I decided to wash the skirting boards I could reach and they appear to have black mould at the join of paper and wood in places. So they are all sprayed and will need washing again. So I am gonna have to paint the skirting boards I can reach too, which means sanding them first. Arghhhhh I am knackered already! Still have 2nd door to sand, then wash then undercoat boith of them. Living room is pulled apart, kitchen is covered in painting and sanding paraphernalia.

Got up at half 6 to take Dd2 to the gym and do shopping in Tesco early. Also its Father's day on Sunday so we got his present and cards ready because Dd2 is going on holiday tomorrow to Spain so he will have them tomorrow instead of Sunday . Got him a Bird bath , garden plant stakes , moisturiser for his face a football top, Southampton of course 🤣and a box of his favourite chocolates 😁. He's also going to have an Indian. takeaway tomorrow night 😋🤗
