Settled for the night, dishes done etc.

Noticed my huge aloe is a bit grotty in the middle where its all hidden. One 'baby' is broken off so have cut the end and put it to dry off. Will need to repot it and might have more broken bits when i pull it all out. Damm succulents theres a saying..."This is the exact amount of water you need to keep me alive and well, it's also the exact amount of water to kill me." 😡
Will need to get cactus compost and grit as well. Might pop into town tomorrow to get it all. Will need to drag ds1 in to lift the bags!

Sorry i confused the birthdays @DirtyGertiefromno30 it's ds1s birthday tomorrow, he is 24, ds2 is next month and will be 21. We are going to the new Indian restaurant tomorrow, his dad's coming over. Unfortunately ds2 is working, start of season an all, can't get time off yet. Hope they have something mild for me! Not a mention of korma on thier menu! 🤣
Ds1 has finally got up and showered so we will be going for the compost soon. Hope rain stays away till we get back and unloaded.
Am loosening up a bit thanks, body is a right traitor to me🤣

God I hate shopping @DirtyGertiefromno30 ! The nutters who drive cars! Nearly been hit about 4 times either in car or standing beside my car! Crazy.

Got potting compost, top soil, small bag of grit. Got a helebore for £2.50, hopefully with a years growth it will blooming. A few flowers still to come on it so not too shabby. It's dusky pink, really nice. No cacti compost anywhere will have to.order it online. Got a couple of pots to repot cacti in.
Need to clean out the fridge but coffee first.

Cake is in oven although not 100% convinced. My mixer doesn't seem to be mixing properly. I need a new one. I mixed it as well as it could. Oh well ds1 wont care it's choc! Fridge stuff binned, dishes done, wash on, back on sofa.😁

Haven't had anything except a bit of choc this afternoon. Don't fancy anything. Have tinned fruit in fridge if i am peckish later.
Washed ds1s coat as it was grotty from the bags them realised he will prob need it tomorrow so had to put heating on!
All washed up, cake looks ok, in jammies ready to relax.
Need to.look for a new mixer, maybe for my biryhday in a couple of months. Nothing flash mine has lasted donkeys years and not flash at all just damm good workhorse. And order compost!

Absolutely typical about the coat @Thebookofcarolagain🙈. You get it all washed and then realise he’ll need it tomorrow so the heating has to go on 🙄. At least it’ll be clean and fresh for him tomorrow 🤗.

The Greggs bag was lovely. Tomato soup and a Mac n cheese for me , the rest of them had chicken fillets in southern fried batter , wedges and mozzarella bites . 3 Mac n cheese left over for tomorrow 😋👏 Very good price for all that and it saved me cooking and washing up too 😁

Was raining earlier but stopped now and is actually sunny!. But wind is blowing a gale.
Have decorated ds1s cake it didnt rise as much as it should have, but its fine. I don't know if it's my oven, maybe I need to play around trying lower temps than recipie? I already use less time than stated. Drives ne mad.
Gave ds his pressie and card with the money. He got a scratch card from his GD and got £5 off it so he's happy. Will prob buy another one 🤣 He is pretty lucky with them just wish it was the £ millions not fivers or tenners 🤣
Not doing any gardening so I stay clean for out meal out.😁 His dad is coming about 4.

Ovens can be tricky sometimes a slightly lower temp helps but what do l know all ovens are terribly temperamental ime 🙄

You have been busy @DirtyGertiefromno30 2 liads of washibg that's a lot. .I went out to bring the car up to front of house as there wasn't any room yesterday. It's a freezing cold wind! Looks glorious but heck that wind!
Yeah ovens are a pia but this one seems determined to ruin everything i bake! Wish I had never bought it years ago. Cost a fortune and it's crap.

Dried 3 lines of washing today l am shocked tbh. I have just bought the last lot in and put it all away, the bedding is on the rads just to air but fully dry .
Cooked chicken dinner tonight l am looking forward to it and thank God the rugby has finished but they have got footy on now 🤣

I know we have been su lucky with the TGTG bags from Greggs they are amazing 😁

Phew am stuffed! Didn't even eat half of mine as it was hotter than I expected. Had popodums and dips, I had Shatkora. Supposed to be citrus flavoured, made with Indian lemons but not a lot of citrus taste more like a hot butter chicken. Had coconut rice too and half a small naan. We were offered complimentary hot drinks at end (I didn't realise they were complimentary then, he spoke to Ds1) but his dad was already up and paying so we declined. My turn next for ds2s meal wonder where he will chose.
Will be stuck on sofa for the night! Had a lovely time.
